Puerto Rico built an 18:11 lead after ten minutes. They grabbed a 38:28 halftime lead. Puerto Rico triggered a 24:11 run in the fourth period to seal the win. Bahamas - Costa Rica 55-49 Bahamas secured the fifth-place finish at the championship. They overcame Costa Rica in the final game in Manati. Brea Forbes (173-G-94) came up with 16 points to lead the charge. Tracey Lewis (180-G) added 13 points for the winning side. Bahamas trailed by 5 points heading into the fourth quarter. But they went on a 20:9 run in the fourth stanza to snatch the win. Jennifer Sanchez (178-F/C-96) had 13 points for Costa Rica.

Puerto Rico - Dominican Republic 72-56 Puerto Rico fired past Dominican Republic to reach the title game in Manati. The hosts got to a rather slow start. Dominican Republic grabbed a 30:26 halftime lead. But Puerto Rico tuned in offensively in the second half. They unloaded 46 points after the big break and marched to a comfortable win at the end. Costa Rica - Bahamas 57-60 Bahamas nipped Costa Rica to celebrate the first win in Group B. Bahamas got to a strong start. They established a 32:22 halftime lead. Costa Rica pulled within 3 points at the final intermission. Bahamas however hung on throughout the fourth period and rallied to the win. Tracy Lewis (180-F/G-90) netted 15 points, while Sha-Londa Neely (187-F/C-97) added 14 points for Bahamas. Natalia Galvez (170-G-84) answered with 16 points for Costa Rica.
