Brazil - Argentina 64-65
Melisa Gretter (167-PG-93, agency: ProDep Management) sank a free throw with three seconds remaining in regulation and Argentina beat Brazil for the South American Championship title. Andrea Boquete (183-SF-90) and Macarena Rosset (178-G/F-91) nailed 13 points each for the champions. Brazil dominated in the first half. They piled up a 32:20 halftime lead. But Argentina picked up the tempo in the second half. They unleashed 45 points including a decisive late free throw from Gretter to snatch the victory. Melisa Gretter and Victoria Llorente (180-F/C-96, agency: ProDep Management) finished with 11 points each in the win. Clarissa Dos Santos (185-C-88, agency: ProDep Management) answered with 19 points and 15 rebounds for Brazil.
3-4 Place
Colombia - Paraguay 83-78
Colombia stepped onto the podium in Tunja. The hosts rallied past Paraguay to earn Bronze medals. Colombia posted a 26:20 lead after ten minutes. They went on an 18:7 run in the third term to open a 15-point lead. Paraguay cut the deficit in the fourth term but could not avoid the loss. Narlyn Mosquera (197-F/C-89) produced 25 points, while Jenifer Munoz (170-G-91) added 20 points for the winners. Paola Ferrari (178-G/F-85, college: Union, TN, agency: ProDep Management) responded with 34 points for Paraguay.

5-6 Place
Venezuela - Ecuador 85-60
Venezuela earned the fifth place at the championship after they stormed past Ecuador on Tuesday. Venezuela registered a 50:33 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Daniela Wallen (180-SF-95, college: Oklahoma City) stepped up with 23 points, 12 boards and 7 assists for Venezuela. Odeth Betancourt (185-F/C-00) added 13 points for the winners. Karla Yepez (175-F-96) had 14 points for Ecuador.

7-8 Place
Peru - Chile 70-80
Chile occupied the 7th overall place in Colombia. They beat Peru on the final day of the championship. Tatiana Gomez (192-C-81) delivered 20 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Chile built a 41:32 halftime lead. They controlled the tempo in the second half and raced to the victory. Catalina Abuyeres (182-F/C-97) had 17 points for Chile. Ana Farfan (165-PG-93) replied with 19 points for Peru.

Argentina - Paraguay 80-67
Argentina outgunned Paraguay to advance into Final in Tunja. Debora Gonzalez (170-PG-90, agency: Players Group) scored 23 points to lead the winners. Paraguay grabbed a 20:14 lead after ten minutes. But Argentina used a 31:11 run in the third term to take a comfortable 15-point lead. Paraguay sank 20 points in the fourth stanza but could not avoid the loss. Macarena Rosset (178-G/F-91) chipped in 18 points for the winners. Marta Peralta (171-SG-93) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds for Paraguay.

Brazil - Colombia 67-58
Brazil held off Colombia in the semifinal battle on Monday. The hosts snatched a 39:35 halftime lead. But Brazil silenced their opponents with a 20:2 run in the third term. Colombia outscored the visitors in the fourth period but could not rescue the game. Clarissa Dos Santos (185-C-88, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the winners. Taina Paixao (176-G-91) added 14 points for Brazil. Paraguay - Venezuela 81-73
Paraguay toppled Venezuela to reach the semifinal stage. Paraguay grabbed a 22:9 lead after ten minutes. Venezuela cut the deficit in the next quarters but could not avoid the loss. Paola Ferrari (178-G/F-85, college: Union, TN, agency: ProDep Management) scored 29 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for Paraguay. Tamara Insfran (175-G/F-89, college: Cumberland) added 16 points for the winners. Ivaney Marquez (181-SF-83, college: Grayson County CC) answered with 21 points for Venezuela.

Brazil - Chile 99-66
Brazil cruised past Chile to improve at 3-0 record in Group A. Brazil sank 50 points in the first half to gain a 15-point halftime lead. They added 49 points after the big break to march to the win. Izabella Sangalli (184-SF-95) contributed 16 points and 9 rebounds for Brazil. Tatiana Gomez (192-C-81) netted 16 points and collected 9 rebounds for Chile.

Colombia - Argentina 61-67
Argentina held off Colombia for the third straight win in Tunja. Colombia stayed dominant in the first half. They ensured a 30:23 halftime lead. But Argentina went on a 27:15 rally in the fourth quarter to snatch the victory. Agostina Burani (186-F/C-91) delivered 17 points, while Macarena Rosset (178-G/F-91) added 15 points in the victory. Mabel Martinez (180-F-86) answered with 14 points for Colombia.

Ecuador - Peru 58-51
Ecuador rolled past Peru to open win count in Group B. Ecuador used an 18:5 run in the second term to take a 31:19 halftime lead. Peru tied things up at 38 heading into the fourth quarter. Ecuador though sank 20 points in the final term and raced to the win. Dayanna Salcedo (176-C/F-89) chipped in 15 points, while Marjorie Caicedo (180-PF-90) had 13 points in the victory. Ana Farfan (165-PG-93) replied with 27 points for Peru.

Chile - Venezuela 60-77
Venezuela toppled Chile to open win count at the championship. Venezuela grabbed a 36:32 halftime lead. They went on a 20:12 run in the third term to post a 12-point lead and never looked back en route to the win. Colombia fired past Ecuador to stay perfect at home championship. Colombia dominated from start to finish. They piled up a 40:15 halftime lead. The hosts followed with a 20:3 run in the fourth term to seal the win. Mayra Caicedo (162-PG-00) delivered 19 points, while Jenifer Munoz (170-G-91) added 14 points for Colombia. Paraguay - Chile 73-66

They went on a 33:19 rally in the second half to breeze to the win. Ornella Santana (180-F/C-90) had 11 points for the winning side. Maria Mogollon (184-F/C-95) answered with 7 points for Ecuador.

Peru - Colombia 28-84
Colombia thumped Peru in the opening game. The hosts opened the game on a stunning 26:1 run. They outscored the visitors in each of the next three quarters to coast to the victory. Mayra Caicedo (162-PG-00) chipped in 17 points for Colombia. Manuela Rios (165-G-97) and Narlyn Mosquera (197-F/C-89) added 10 points each for the winners.
