#1. Natalie Villaflor, a 26-year-old guard standing at 5'10" who graduated from Mt. St. Mary's in 2023, showcased her skills on the basketball court by leading WINGS Leverkusen to a narrow 80-78 victory against the fourth-ranked Bochum in the German 2.Bundesliga. Despite it being only her third season in professional basketball, Villaflor delivered an impressive performance with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 27 minutes of play. Transitioning from playing for RMU between 2018 and 2022 to now competing professionally in Germany, Villaflor has quickly made a name for herself. Currently, WINGS Leverkusen holds the top spot in the North group with a remarkable record of 23-1, marking their 17th consecutive win. This season, Villaflor has been a key player for her team, averaging 14.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Her debut year with WINGS Leverkusen has already proven to be successful, as she continues to excel on the court and contribute significantly to her team's victories. Villaflor's exceptional performance against Bochum highlights her capabilities as a champion in the making, demonstrating her potential to become a formidable force in professional basketball.
