half rally to ice the victory.

nipped Venezuela to ensure the fifth-place finish at the championship.
Brazil ensured a 19-10 lead after ten minutes. Venezuela cut the deficit
in the second half but came up short of win at the end. Matheus
Monteiro finished with 15 points, while
Joao Neves (200-SF-2008) added 13 points for
the winners.
Anthony Reyes (180-F-2006) answered with 18 points for Venezuela.
7-8 Place
Belize - Puerto Rico 51-79Puerto
Rico claimed the 7th position in Buenos Aires. They cruised past Belize
in the final game at the championship. Puerto Rico built a 36-29
halftime lead. They went on a 43-22 rally in the second half to seal the
win.
Alejandro Aviles (206-C/F-2006) posted 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Brandon
Lee added 16 points for Puerto Rico.
Devin Moody (193-G-2006) connected for 12 points
