Barbados - Surinam 81-75 Barbados secured 3rd place in this tournament as they defeated Surinam 81:75. Absolutely magnificent performance we saw from Akeem Marsh (206-F/C-87), experienced player who scored 34 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (5 in offense). David Gill contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds. In losing team Gylan Watamaleo scored 20 points.
Group 5-6 Place
Grenada - Saint Vincent 68-82 Chrisford Telesford (196-F-88) lead his Saint Vincent to 5th place as he scored 24 points and took 13 rebounds and Phillip Lawrence-Ricks (203-SF-94) joined him with 22 points and 6 rebounds. They lead Saint Vincent to the 5th place game win as they beat Grenada with +14 margin (82:62). In losing team best player was Kevin Cox (190-G-93) with amazing role and 36 splashed points and 7 rebounds (He scored 6 three pointers).
Group 7-8 Place
Montserrat - Bermudas 57-47 Montserrat had decent tournament as they took seventh place after they beat Bermuda with 10 point margin in low efficiency game. Kherel Le-Vyrle scored 19 points with 17 rebounds for Montserrat and Yusef Riley (196-F-93) contributed with 16 points and 16 rebounds for Bermudas.

Guyana - Antigua 83-70 Guayana made it! They won final game against Antigua 83:70 with shining starting five players. They played awesome and scored more then half of the points (48). Stanton Rose (183-PG-99) was amazing with 23 points and 7 rebounds, he was followed by Ray Victor (183-G-88, college: Warner) with 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Shaine Webster (196-F-88) and Anthony Moe (206-F/C-90, college: Millersville) scored 12 points each. In losing team of Antigua best was Ernest Scott (201-F-82, college: Valdosta St., agency: Court Side) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Bryan Matthew (196-G/F-75, college: Iona) with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Guyana - Barbados 76-71 Guyana advanced into the championship game. They held off Barbardos in the semifinal clash in Paramaribo. Ray Victor (183-G-88, college: Warner) scored 25 points to lead the winners. Guyana stormed into the game taking a 32:15 lead after ten minutes. Barbados narrowed the distance to just 4 points at the interval 45:41. Guyana however limited their opponents to just 12 points in the third term to restore a 7-point lead. Barbados cut the distance in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Anthony Moe (206-F/C-90, college: Millersville) chipped in 17 points for the winners. Andre Lockhart (183-PG-86, college: Queens, NC) answered with 24 points for Barbados.
Surinam - Antigua 73-76 Antigua will play for the title in Paramabiro after they upset Suriname in the semifinal clash on Friday. Cohen Zantaya (201-F-94, college: Tyler JC) posted 14 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Suriname recorded a comfortable 27:18 lead after ten minutes. Antigua responded with an 18:6 run in the second period to surge ahead. The seesaw action continued in the second half. Suriname regained the lead heading into the fourth period up by 5 points. But Antigua unloaded 26 points in the final stanza to snatch the victory at the end. Bryan Matthew (196-G/F-75, college: Iona) had 12 points in the win. Dancell Leter answered with game-high 28 points and 9 rebounds for Suriname.

Guyana - Surinam 83-72 Guyana accounted for the third consecutive win in Group A. They held off Suriname to remain perfect. Ray Victor (183-G-88, college: Warner) was unstoppable with 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Suriname eked out a 12:10 lead ten minutes into the game. But Guyana used a 29:15 rally in the second quarter to surge ahead. They dropped 44 points in the second half to roll to the victory. Shaine Webster (196-F-88) chipped in 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the winners. Dancell Leter responded with 21 points for Suriname.
Saint Vincent - Saint Lucia 80-61 Saint Vincent fired past Saint Lucia to open win count in Suriname. Chrisford Telesford (196-F-88) posted 19 points and 6 rebounds to lead the winners. Saint Vincent led by just 2 points at the big break. But they increased the tempo in the second half and rallied to a well-deserved win at the end. Phillip Lawrence-Ricks (203-SF-94) had 12 points for the winners. Yandell Denis and Keegan Preville (190-F-86) answered with 11 points each for Saint Lucia.

Bermudas - Montserrat 72-56 Bermudas held off Montserrat to celebrate the first win at the tournament. Christopher Crumpler (191-G/F-83) came off the bench to nail 27 points in the victory. Bermudas took a 36:31 halftime advantage. They followed with a 17:7 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Jason Lowe (193-F/G-85) tossed in 22 points and collected 11 rebounds for Bermudas. Emanuel Bradshaw banked in 12 points for Montserrat.
Antigua - Haiti 59-76 Haiti rallied past Antigua to record the third straight victory in Suriname. Marvin Dominique (201-PF-91, college: St.Peter's) nailed 23 points to lead the charge. Antigua and Haiti were all tied at 30 heading into the second half. However Haiti used a 46:29 second half run to seal a comfortable win. Hernst Laroche (185-PG-89, college: N.Mexico St.) delivered 15 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in the victory. Cohen Zantaya (201-F-94, college: Tyler JC) and Lennox McCoy (188-G-77, college: Cent.Oklahoma) answered with 13 points each for Antigua.

Surinam - Saint Vincent 88-86 OT Suriname recorded the third straight win in Group A. They held off Saint Vincent in overtime to stay perfect. Dancell Leter came up with 33 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort. Saint Vincent enjoyed a 37:33 halftime lead. But Suriname managed to deny the deficit in the second half forcing overtime. They poured in 11 points in the extra period to steal the win. Gylan Watamaleo had 16 points for the winners. Chrisford Telesford (196-F-88) replied with 29 points and 10 rebounds for Saint Vincent.
Saint Lucia - Grenada 69-73 Grenada opened win count in the qualifiers. They upset Saint Lucia for 1-2 record. Kevin Cox (190-G-93) posted 13 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge. Saint Vincent grabbed a 23:14 lead after the opening quarter. But Grenada went on a strong 25:14 run in the final period to snatch the win. Elmon Williams (193-SF-85) chipped in 12 points for Grenada. Yandell Denis (193-G-90) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Saint Lucia.

Haiti - Montserrat 110-50 Haiti stormed past Montserrat for the second consecutive win in Group B. Farnold Degand (193-G-88, college: NC State) recorded 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort. Haiti dominated from start to finish. They posted a 59:16 halftime lead. Haiti unloaded 51 points in the second half to cruise to the victory. Jeantal Cylla (201-F-96) tossed in 19 points and 8 rebounds for Haiti. Chad Kirnon (180-G-82) answered with 22 points for Montserrat.
Antigua - Barbados 62-55 Antigua improved at 3-0 record following a tough win over Barbados. Vivian Destin (193-G-86) chipped in 15 points to lead the winners. Antigua posted a 31:28 halftime lead. Barbados pulled within a single point at the final intermission. But Antigua limited their opponents to just 10 points in the fourth frame to rally to the win. Cohen Zantaya (201-F-94, college: Tyler JC) delivered 10 points for Antigua. Andre Lockhart (183-PG-86, college: Queens, NC) replied with 18 points for Barbados.
