Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rams alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Cameron Campbell (6'4''-PG, played in 2019-22, plays pro in Mexico) could not help Frayles de Guasave (5-31) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Frayles de Guasave lost 103-108 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Ostioneros de Guaymas. Campbell was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 39 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Campbell's third season in pro basketball. It was Frayles de Guasave's 24th consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This year Campbell averages 7.2ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg in 12 games he played so far.
#2. Justin Glover (6'4''-F, played in 2011-13, plays in the ECBL) led Hickory Hoyas to a victory against the Queen City Vipers (6-5) 118-111 in the ECBL last Sunday. Glover scored 16 points and added 3 passes. The Hickory Hoyas have 7-5 record this season. His team will play only one more game in the ECBL Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Glover's first year with the team. Glover has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.4apg.
#3. Chris Witherspoon (6'0''-SG, played in 2011-13, currently in the ECBL) is a teammate of previously mentioned Justin Glover and both played together in the last ECBL game. Witherspoon contributed to a Hickory Hoyas' victory against the Queen City Vipers (6-5) 118-111. He scored 13 points and added 4 passes. Witherspoon has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.0ppg, 4.3rpg and 4.6apg in seven games.
#4. Rasheen Merlin (6'9''-F-1998, played in 2020-22, plays pro in the TBL) helped Kokomo Bobkats win their game against the Lake County Legacy (0-15) 131-122 in the TBL in Friday night's game. Merlin recorded 8 points. The Kokomo Bobkats have a solid 13-6 record this season. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. There are only three games left until the end of the TBL Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Merlin averages 5.9ppg and 2.9rpg.
#5. J'Vonni Roblejo (6'9''-F, played in 2024-25, plays in El Salvador) was not able to help Santa Ana in their game against A.Lobos (13-4) in the Salvadorean Liga MB (second division). He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. It was his first game for Santa Ana this season. Santa Ana lost 53-65 to the second-ranked A.Lobos. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
