#1. Experienced Babatunde Olumuyiwa (6'8''-C-1992, played in 2010-14, plays pro in Spain). He could not help the league outsider Coviran Granada (0-5) to beat Breogan Lugo (2-3) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Olumuyiwa scored 5 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. The bottom-ranked Coviran Granada was crushed95-74 on the road by the higher-ranked Breogan Lugo (#14). So far Coviran Granada lost all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Olumuyiwa's first year with the team. This season he averages 5.4ppg and 4.2rpg.
#2. Jure Span (6'4''-G/F-1995, played in 2015-19, plays in Slovenia) was not able to help Sentjur in their game against Helios Suns (3-1) in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka. He scored 6 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Sentjur was crushed91-69 in Domzale by the leading Helios Suns. Span has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 4.7apg in seven games he played so far.
#3. Josh Aldrich (6'7''-F-1999, played in 2018-22, currently in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) was not able to secure a victory for M.Rehovot (3-1) in their game last Tuesday. Despite his good performance M.Rehovot was edged90-88 in Nazareth by the higher-ranked H.Migdal (#3). Aldrich scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 22 minutes. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Aldrich's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.8ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3bpg.
#4. Miguel Ayesa (6'5''-G-2000, played in 2023-24, plays pro in Spain) couldn't help Cartagena (2-4) in their game against Estudiantes (1-4) in the Spanish Primera FEB (second division). His contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. Ayesa scored only 3 points. Cartagena was crushed95-68 at home by the lower-ranked (#14) Estudiantes. It was Cartagena's third consecutive loss in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Ayesa averages 4.0ppg in two games. He is a naturalized Spaniard.
