Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bulldogs players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. U.S. Virgin Islands' Jemal Davis, a 6'9'' forward who graduated from UNC Asheville in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Paraguay, showcased his talent in a recent game leading Amambay to a resounding victory over the underperforming Capiata team, who are currently at 0-11 in the league. The game ended with a score of 114-75 in favor of Amambay on Thursday night. In his debut game for Amambay this season, Davis made a significant impact by scoring 15 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and blocking 2 shots in just 16 minutes of play. This exceptional performance is even more impressive considering that Davis is only in his second season as a professional basketball player. His team, Amambay, currently holds the fourth position in the league standings. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, every match becomes crucial for teams jostling for playoff positions. Davis' outstanding contribution against Capiata not only helped secure the victory but also highlighted his skills on the court. His stellar performance was instrumental in Amambay emerging as the undisputed champion of the game, showcasing his potential as a future finalist in the league.
