We bring you last week's top former Fighting Illini players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Camille Hobby, a 6'3'' forward/center who graduated from Illinois in 2024 after helping them win the WBI Championship that year, is currently playing professionally in Australia. Recently, she led the Ballarat Miners to a remarkable victory over the 14th-ranked Lady Braves with a score of 89-78 in the Australian NBL One North, the second division league. This victory was particularly special as it marked her team's fourth consecutive win. In this game, Hobby's exceptional performance earned her the MVP title. She scored an impressive 23 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and made a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line in 38 minutes of play. This outstanding display of skill is even more impressive considering she is only in her second season of professional basketball. Her contributions were vital in securing the championship for her team in this game. Currently, Ballarat Miners hold the fifth position in the South group with a record of 6-3. Hobby has been having a stellar season individually, averaging 18.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Her consistent high-level performance is undoubtedly making her a standout player in the league.
