We bring you last week's top former Bearcats players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of David DeJulius (6 points), Ody Oguama (10 points), and Simonas Lukosius (8 points).



   #1. David DeJulius, a 26-year-old point guard standing at 6 feet tall, graduated from Cincinnati in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Spain. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB's victory against Zaragoza, one of the league's weaker teams, with a score of 100-90 in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Despite playing for only 21 minutes, he managed to contribute significantly by scoring 6 points and providing 6 assists. Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB, currently placed second in the league with a record of 24-9, will have one more critical game in the Regular Season. DeJulius showcased his skills on the court by scoring 6 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and distributing 6 assists in the game against Zaragoza, further establishing himself as a true champion. Throughout the season, he has maintained impressive individual performance, averaging 17.5 points per game, which ranks him as the second-best scorer in the league. Additionally, he has averaged 1.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the 33 games he has played so far. Notably, DeJulius is a naturalized American player, bringing his talent and expertise to the Spanish league.

   #2. Ody Oguama, a 6'9'' forward and 26-year-old Bearcats alumni from the class of 2024, showcased his skills playing professionally in Poland. In a recent game against the closely-ranked Trefl (19-11), Oguama played a key role in his team's dominant 88-73 victory in the Polish Orlen Basket Liga last Thursday. He impressively contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 18 minutes of play. Dziki Warszawa, sitting in fifth place in the league with an 18-12 record, has been benefiting from Oguama's talents throughout the season. His arrival to the team has been fruitful, as this victory marked their fifth consecutive win. Oguama's impact was undeniable as he showcased his prowess on the court, proving himself to be a true champion. This season, Oguama has been averaging 6.6 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game across 34 games. His Nigerian heritage adds to his unique and diverse background, contributing to his dynamic playing style. With his stellar performance in the recent game, Oguama has solidified his position as a key player for his team and a force to be reckoned with in the league.

   #3. German player Simonas Lukosius, a 6'8'' guard/forward aged 23, graduated from Cincinnati in 2025 and currently competes professionally in Lithuania. Despite his efforts, Lukosius, in his first season with Rytas, could not propel his team to victory against Juventus in the Lithuanian Betsafe Lietuvos krepsinio lyga. In a closely contested match, he managed to contribute 8 points and 2 rebounds in 27 minutes of play. However, Rytas ultimately succumbed to Juventus with a final score of 95-101, suffering a defeat at home to the lower-ranked (#7) team. Lukosius has been averaging 6.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 32 games played this season. Notably, he holds both American and German citizenship, enabling him to play as a domestic player in Germany.

   #4. Jacob Evans III, a 6'5'' guard and 28-year-old alumnus of Bearcats from 2018, was a key player in helping his team secure the AAC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in the Czech Republic, Evans III recently made a significant impact in Pardubice's victory over the third-ranked Brno with a score of 82-72 in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL last Thursday. In this highly anticipated matchup between two of the top 3 teams in group Places 1-8, Evans III showcased his skills by contributing 11 points and making 3 steals in just 23 minutes of play. His performance was crucial in leading BK KVIS Pardubice, currently placed second with a record of 27-9, to a notable win. Throughout this season, Evans III has been consistently contributing to his team's success, averaging 3.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in 19 appearances. His recent standout performance against Brno further solidified his reputation as a champion player, demonstrating his value on the court and his ability to deliver when it matters most.

   #5. Troy Caupain, a 6'4'' point guard who graduated from Cincinnati in 2017 and received the All-AAC Sportsmanship Award that year, currently plays professionally in Italy. In a recent game, Caupain's team, Reggio Emilia, faced off against Armani Milano in the Italian Serie A. Despite his efforts, Caupain and Reggio Emilia fell short against the higher-ranked Armani Milano, with a final score of 72-84 in favor of Milano. Even though Caupain contributed 5 points and 2 assists during the game, playing a total of 30 minutes, it wasn't enough to secure a victory for Reggio Emilia. This loss marked Reggio Emilia's first defeat after a successful streak of four consecutive wins. Throughout the season, Caupain has maintained solid stats, averaging 15.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 32 games played so far. Despite the outcome of the game against Armani Milano, Caupain continues to showcase his skills and talent on the court as a dedicated champion in the Italian Serie A.

   #6. Experienced Polish player Adam Hrycaniuk, a 6'9'' center and 42-year-old Bearcats alum from 2008, currently playing professionally in Poland, made a significant impact in AMW Arka Gdynia's recent triumph over the closely-ranked WKS Slask by a score of 71-54 in the Polish Orlen Basket Liga last Saturday. Despite scoring just 4 points in 11 minutes, Hrycaniuk's performance was pivotal in the victory. He showcased his skills against Slask, contributing 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist, ultimately propelling his team to success and earning him the title of champion of the game. Throughout this year, Hrycaniuk has maintained an average of 2.6 points per game and 1.8 rebounds per game across 32 games, solidifying his role as a key player for his team.

   #7. In a recent match in The Basketball League, Ge'Lawn Guyn, a 35-year-old guard standing at 6'2'' and a graduate of ETSU in 2016, showcased his talent as a champion. Playing for 4 Bears Roar, he led his team to a dominant 138-107 victory over the Grant County Redtails in a thrilling derby game last Saturday. Guyn put up an impressive performance, scoring 14 points, securing 5 rebounds, and delivering 3 assists in just 23 minutes of play. Guyn's contributions were instrumental in the team's success, highlighting his skills as a finalist on the court. Throughout this season, he has maintained solid averages of 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in the five games played so far.    #8. Jeremiah Davenport, a 6'7'' guard and 26-year-old former Razorbacks alumni from 2024, who previously played for Cincinnati between 2019 and 2023, currently showcases his skills in Mexico's professional basketball league. In a recent game, he led Angeles de Ciudad de Mexico to a decisive victory over the Tijuana Zonkeys, with a final score of 110-88 in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. Davenport's notable performance included scoring 15 points, securing 2 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 21 minutes of play against the closely-ranked Tijuana team. His impactful contribution on the court undoubtedly played a key role in helping his team emerge as the champion of the match.    #10. Coreontae DeBerry, a 31-year-old center standing at 6'10'' and an alumnus of the Bearcats from 2016, was a key player in helping his team secure the Thailand Basketball League Champion title in that same year. Currently playing professionally in the TBL, DeBerry recently competed for the Lebanon Leprechauns against the St. Louis Griffins in the league. Despite his commendable performance of scoring 5 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and blocking 2 shots in just 13 minutes of play, his team fell short to the St. Louis Griffins with a final score of 124-136. DeBerry showcased his skills and determination on the court, contributing significantly with 5 points and 5 rebounds against the formidable St. Louis Griffins. Although he displayed an impressive performance, his team was unable to secure the victory in the game.
