In a recent game, he played a crucial role in leading Basquet Girona to a victory against the 15th-ranked UCAM with a score of 84-77 in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Despite only playing for 18 minutes, McClung managed to contribute 11 points to the team's success. This game marked his debut for Basquet Girona this season, and his performance certainly made an impact. Currently, his team holds the fourth position in the league standings, but it is still early in the season, and there is much room for changes in the rankings. In another impressive display of his skills, McClung scored 11 points, secured 3 rebounds, and provided 1 assist in a game against Murcia, helping Basquet Girona secure the victory and claim the title of the champion of the match.

#2. Keenan Evans, a 6'3'' point guard and 30-year-old Red Raiders alumnus from 2018, currently plays professionally in the United Kingdom. Recently, he shone as a major contributor in a significant victory for the London Lions over league leaders Liverpool, with a decisive 78-49 win in the British Super League Basketball competition. In this game, Evans showcased his skills by scoring 11 points, securing 4 rebounds, providing 4 assists, and making 4 steals in just 23 minutes of play. This impressive performance helped the London Lions secure a crucial win, solidifying their top position in the league with a perfect 4-0 record in the Regular Season. Notably, this victory came against a formidable opponent, highlighting Evans' impact as a key player for his team. Despite it being his first season with the London Lions, Evans has already made a significant impact, averaging 12.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game over the course of three games played. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his prowess and determination as a champion player, essential for his team's success in the league.

#3. Jarrett Culver, a 6'6'' guard who graduated from Texas Tech in 2019 and received the USBWA All-District VII Player of the Year award that same year, currently plays professionally in Japan. Recently, he showcased his skills by leading the Sendai 89ers to a resounding 81-55 victory over the tenth-ranked Happinets, earning himself the MVP title for his outstanding performance. Culver's impressive double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, along with 4 assists in just 28 minutes of play, demonstrated his exceptional talent on the court. The Sendai 89ers, currently placed second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 1-1, have benefited greatly from Culver's contributions. In another game against Akita NH, Culver once again shone by scoring 28 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists, ultimately leading his team to another victory. His remarkable stats for the season so far - averaging 26.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game - highlight his consistent performance and undeniable impact as a champion player in the league.

#4. Experienced Bosnia and Herzegovina champion John Roberson, a 37-year-old point guard standing at 5'11'' and an alum of the Red Raiders from 2011, currently plays professionally in France. In a recent match in the French ELITE 2 league, he led Hyeres-Toulon to a thrilling 82-76 victory over Provence Basket, with Roberson earning the title of MVP for his outstanding performance. Scoring an impressive 21 points and making 3 steals in just 31 minutes of play, Roberson showcased his exceptional skills on the court. In another game against Fos-sur-Mer, John Roberson, the finalist, scored a remarkable 21 points and secured 2 rebounds, playing a pivotal role in his team's triumph. His exceptional abilities and contributions were vital in helping his team achieve success, highlighting his prowess as a champion player. Currently, his team holds the sixth position in the league standings. Interestingly, Roberson is a naturalized Bosnian, adding another layer to his impressive basketball career.

#5. Elijah Hawkins, a 24-year-old point guard standing at 5'11'' who graduated from Texas Tech in 2025, showcased his talent as a major contributor in Neftci's recent victory against the fifth-ranked Parnu (0-1) with a score of 80-67 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. In his debut game for Neftci this season, Hawkins impressed with 19 points and 5 assists in 32 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is even more commendable considering it is only his second season in professional basketball. Currently, his team holds the top spot in the league standings. Hawkins will have one more crucial game to play in the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifying Round. His stellar performance against Parnu, where he scored 19 points, secured 3 rebounds, and provided 5 assists, played a pivotal role in leading his team to victory. His exceptional skills on the court have undoubtedly solidified his status as a champion in the making.

#6. Cape Verdean Marcus Santos-Silva, a 29-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' and a Red Raiders alum from 2022, currently plays professionally in Italy. In a recent Italian Serie A2 (second division) game, Santos-Silva showcased his talent by leading Forli to a commanding 85-68 victory over the 13th-ranked Cividale. His stellar performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he contributed 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and made 3 blocks in just 27 minutes of play. This game marked his debut for Forli this season, and he made an immediate impact with his impressive stats. Santos-Silva, a naturalized American player, demonstrated his skills on the court, displaying versatility and leadership as he guided his team to triumph as the champion against Cividale. His notable contributions, including scoring, rebounding, and facilitating plays, were pivotal in securing the victory for Forli.

#7. Bryson Williams, a 6'8'' power forward who is 28 years old and a graduate of Texas Tech in 2022, is currently playing professionally in Japan. In a recent game, Williams, an All-Big 12 First Team awardee during his college career, unfortunately could not lead the Tokyo Sun Rockers to victory. Despite his commendable performance, the third-placed Sun Rockers suffered a 92-97 defeat on the road against the lower-ranked #9 Jets in the Eastern Conference. During the game, Williams showcased his skills by scoring 11 points and securing 8 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play. His notable performance against the Chiba Jets included 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist. Despite his impressive contributions, Williams and his team fell short of clinching the win. So far this season, Williams has been averaging 10.0 points per game, ranking him fourth best in the league, and grabbing 4.5 rebounds per game in the two games he has participated in.

#8. Italian champion Davide Moretti, a 6'3'' guard who is 28 years old and an alumnus of the Red Raiders from 2020, received the CoSIDA NCAA Division I Academic All-District 7 Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Italy, Moretti recently made his debut for Cantu in a game against Venezia. Despite his strong performance, where he scored 11 points and contributed 3 assists in 20 minutes of play, Cantu was defeated 73-85 by the higher-ranked (#7) Umana team. It was a promising start for Moretti in his first game of the season, showcasing his skills with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists, although it was not enough to secure a victory for his team.

#9. Tariq Owens, a 6'10'' forward who graduated from Texas Tech in 2019, has been making waves in the Italian basketball scene. Recently, Owens, who helped Texas Tech to win the Big 12 Regular Season Co-Champion title in 2019, joined Halley Campania Avellino Basket in Italy. In his debut game for Avellino this season, Owens played a crucial role in their victory against Vigevano, scoring 5 points in 23 minutes on the court. His contribution was instrumental in Avellino's 87-69 win over Vigevano in the Italian Serie A2, the second division of Italian basketball. Owens' performance not only helped secure the victory for his team but also solidified his position as the standout champion of the game.

#10. Warren Washington, a 26-year-old center standing at 7'0'' and an alumnus of the Red Raiders from 2024, currently plays professionally in Turkey. Despite his efforts, he was unable to lead Bursaspor Basketbol to victory over Trabzon in their recent match. This game did not showcase Washington's best performance as he only contributed one point in 11 minutes of play. This match marked his first appearance for Bursaspor Basketbol this season, and unfortunately, his team suffered a 76-82 loss to Trabzonspor. Washington did manage to score one point and secure one rebound during the game, but it was not enough to secure a win for his team.
