#1. Rahsaan Edwards, a 6'0'' point guard aged 26, who graduated from Florida Tech in 2024 but played for SC State between 2019 and 2023, showcased his skills as a professional player in Sweden. In the recent game, Edwards, the top scorer for Nassjo, delivered an outstanding performance, contributing 32 points and 4 steals in 33 minutes of play. Despite his commendable efforts, Nassjo, unfortunately, fell short to Hogsbo (#6) with a close score of 85-81 on the road last Friday. Even though the team is currently at 1-2, it's important to note that this is just the beginning of the season, and there are still many games ahead. Edwards has been a standout player individually, boasting impressive statistics. He is currently averaging 23.0 points per game, ranking fourth best in the league, along with 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game. With such strong performances, Edwards remains a key player for Nassjo, and there is optimism for better outcomes as the season progresses.
#2. Cameron Clark, a 6'10'' forward/center and 23-year-old Bulldogs alum from 2026, currently playing professionally in Switzerland, unfortunately could not lead Starwings (1-3) to victory in their recent game. Despite his commendable performance, Starwings suffered a 65-53 defeat in Neuchatel against the higher-ranked Union NE (#6). In the match, Clark showcased his skills by scoring 12 points and securing 4 rebounds during his 33 minutes on the court. His noteworthy contribution was evident as he displayed an impressive performance against Union NE. However, despite his best efforts, Starwings ultimately fell short and lost the game. Throughout the season, Clark has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.0 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, 1.3 blocks per game (ranking fourth best in the league), and 1.3 steals per game. His consistent performance and contributions on the court highlight him as a key player for Starwings.
#3. Dallas James, a 25-year-old 7'1'' center who graduated from Morgan State in 2026 and previously played at SC State from 2020 to 2024, is currently playing professionally in Bosnia. Despite his solid contribution of 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist in 26 minutes, Radnicki fell short against the higher-ranked Borac, ultimately losing 87-82 at home.
