Argentina - Ecuador 40-33 Argentina stepped onto the pedestal at the championship. They overcame Ecuador to earn Bronze medals and therefore qualifying for the 2020 U18 Fiba Americas Championship. Genesis Toledano (C-02) and Natalia Tondi (174-PG-03) produced 9 points each for the winners. Argentina grabbed an 18:12 halftime lead and rallied to the win in the second half. Genesis Zabaleta (180-C/F-02) responded with 11 points for Ecuador.

Paraguay - Uruguay 49-73 Uruguay finished the tournament on a high note. They dropped Paraguay to earn the fifth position. Uruguay used a strong 38:20 second half rally to secure the winning outcome. Chile - Venezuela 70-36 Chile thumped Venezuela to clinch the 7th position at the tournament. Chile piled up a 27:13 halftime lead. They poured in 43 points in the second half to race to the win. Brazil - Argentina 61-60 Brazil nipped Argentina to advance into the title game in Barranquilla. Argentina grabbed a 21:17 lead ten minutes into the clash.
