Argentina - USA 75-90
USA continued their FIBA Americas U16 dominance. The North American team claimed the seventh straight title in Xalapa on Sunday. They overcame Argentina in the championship game despite a slow start. Argentina eked out a 31-30 halftime lead. But USA dropped 29 points in the third term to surge ahead. They followed with a 31-25 rally in the fourth period to ice the victory. Robert Dillingham (188-G-05) recorded 31 points, while Ronald Holland II (207-F-05) added 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Juan Bocca (198-F-05) and Tiziano Prome (201-F-05) replied with 15 points each for Argentina.
3-4 Place
Dominican Republic - Canada 76-92
Canada stepped onto the pedestal in Xalapa. They beat Dominican Republic to earn Bronze medals. Canada used a 23-13 run in the second frame to open a 45-34 halftime lead. They added 47 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Jacob Theodosiou (191-G-05) posted 15 points, while Ishan Sharma (196-SG-05) added 14 points for Canada. Yeison Liberato (198-SF-05) responded with 17 points for Dominican Republic.

5-6 Place
Brazil - Mexico 73-60
Brazil upset hosting Mexico to earn the fifth place. Brazil grabbed a 41-28 halftime lead. They held Mexico to just 11 points in the fourth frame and raced to the victory. Eduardo Bersch (185-G-05) posted 31 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for Brazil. Jesus Escobedo (186-G-05) responded with 16 points and 7 assists for Mexico.

7-8 Place
Chile - Puerto Rico 46-73
Puerto Rico outscored Chile to finish 7th at the championship. Puerto Rico accumulated a 43-32 halftime lead. They limited Chile to just 14 points in the second half and raced to the win. Maddox Gali (177-PG-05) produced 16 points for the winners. Milan Cresp (189-SG-05) responded with 8 points for Chile.

Argentina - Dominican Republic 76-74
Argentina nipped Dominican Republic to secure the title game berth in Xalapa. Tiziano Prome (201-F-05) nailed a go-ahead jumper with 32 seconds remaining in regulation to bring Argentina to the victory. Lucas Giovannetti (201-F-05) stepped up with 24 points to pace the winners. Dominican Republic led by two points after ten minutes of action. But Argentina sank 23 points in the second frame to secure a 43-37 halftime advantage. The teams went neck and neck throughout the second half but Argentina turned out winners at the end. Rodrigo Farias (190-SF-05) posted 26 points for Dominican Republic.

Canada - USA 81-99
USA rallied past Canada to reach the Final in Xalapa. Kylan Boswell (188-G-05) scored 20 points to pace the winners of this North American rivalry. USA jumped to a 28-17 lead after ten minutes. Canada used a 30-19 run in the second frame to even things up at 47. But USA unleashed 52 points in the second half to rally to the victory. Jeremy Fears Jr. (186-G-05) provided 18 points in the win. Efeosa Oliogu (196-SF-06) answered with 17 points for Canada.

Argentina - Chile 90-38
Argentina paved their way into the semifinals as they held off Chile. Argentina grabbed a 35-22 halftime lead. They used a 36-5 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Juan Peral (179-PG-05) produced 21 points, while Lucas Giovannetti (201-F-05) and Tiziano Prome (201-F-05) had 14 points each for the winners. Milan Cresp (189-SG-05) answered with 15 points for Chile.

Dominican Republic - Brazil 74-66
Dominican Republic overcame Brazil to secure the semifinal berth in Xalapa. The teams traded baskets throughout the first half. The scoreboard read 36-36 at the big break. Dominican Republic though stepped on the gas in the second half. They held Brazil to 30 points and snatched a tough victory at the end. Danny Carbuccia (185-G-06) tossed in 21 points, while Yeison Liberato (198-SF-05) added 18 points for the winners. Eduardo Bersch (185-G-05) answered with 12 points for Brazil.

Canada - Puerto Rico 93-65
Canada fired past Puerto Rico in the quarterfinal clash. The North American team dominated throughout the game. They registered a 52-31 halftime lead. Canada followed with a 24-14 run in the fourth period to ice the victory. Mikkel Tyne (178-PG-05) posted 20 points, while Efeosa Oliogu (196-SF-06) added 16 points for the winners. Alejandro Aviles answered with 22 points and 11 rebounds for Puerto Rico.

USA - Mexico 123-53
USA upset hosting Mexico to advance into the semifinal stage. USA continued with their dominant form in Xalapa. They built a comfortable 64-24 halftime lead. USA unloaded 59 points in the second half to ease to the win. Jalen Lewis (205-PF-05) finished with 24 points, while Ronald Holland II (207-F-05) contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Gualberto Landavazo (200-F-05) answered with 11 points for Mexico.

USA finished Group Stage undefeated. They stormed past Chile to occupy the top place in Group B. USA secured a 67-26 halftime lead and eased to the victory in the second half. Ian Jackson (201-SF-05) scored 30 points, while Robert Dillingham (188-G-05) finished with 17 points and 12 assists for USA. Juan Aguirre (189-SF-05) responded with 15 points for Chile.

Puerto Rico - Dominican Republic 67-75
Dominican Republic beat Puerto Rico for 2-1 record in the second place in Group B. Dominican Republic jumped off to an 18-8 lead after the first period. Puerto Rico pulled within 6 points at the final break. But Dominican Republic held their opponents to just 17 points in the fourth frame and raced to the victory. Danny Carbuccia (185-G-06) tossed in 20 points and handed out 8 assists for the winners. Alejandro Aviles (206-C-06) produced 17 points and 12 rebounds for Puerto Rico.

Brazil - Canada 53-92
Canada raced past Brazil to secure the second position in Group A. Ishan Sharma (196-SG-05) provided 19 points for the North American side. Canada piled up a 38-25 halftime lead. They went on a 44-28 rally in the second half to seal the win. Efeosa Oliogu (196-SF-06) had 14 points for the winners. Enrico Bianchi (182-PG-05) had 13 points for Brazil.

Argentina topped Mexico to earn the third straight win in Group A. Argentina secured a 28-21 halftime lead. They followed with a massive 28-13 run in the third term to clear off for good. Puerto Rico coasted past Chile to gain the first win in Group B. Puerto Rico dominated from start to finish. They established a 48-23 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Alejandro Aviles (206-C-06) produced 18 points, while Luis Marin (195-SF-05) and Ryan Martinez (195-F-05) added 14 points each for the winners. Milan Cresp (189-SG-05) responded with 11 points for Chile.

Argentina eased past Brazil for 2-0 record in Group A. Argentina jumped off to a 50-27 halftime lead. They followed with a 48-25 second half run to race to the victory. Dominican Republic stormed past Chile in the opener. Dominican Republic built a 58-25 halftime lead. They sank 49 points in the second half and marched to the victory.
