UTE celebrated the Liga Ecuatoriana title. They swept the championship series versus Santa Maria. UTE earned a 69:62 victory in the third game to complete the sweep. UTE eked out a 17:14 lead after the first period. They boosted the gap at 8-point mark at the interval 30:22. UTE accumulated a 54:45 lead heading into the fourth frame. They protected the lead well throughout the final period and rallied to the triumph. Marjorie Caicedo (180-F-90) was named the MVP.
