Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC We bring you last week's top former Shockers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Diamond Richardson, a 5'7'' guard who graduated from Wichita State in 2026 and currently plays professionally in the WPBA, unfortunately could not propel the Hayward Reign (1-5) to victory in their recent game against the Oakland Swish. Despite Richardson's strong performance, where she scored 11 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and made all six of her free throws, the Reign suffered a 94-103 loss on the road. This defeat marked the Reign's third consecutive loss, highlighting their current struggles in the league. Richardson, however, showcased her skills against the Swish by contributing 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, demonstrating her value to the team. Notably, Richardson leads the league in scoring this year, averaging 10.0 points per game along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the six games she has played so far. Her impressive performance on the court has solidified her reputation as a standout player in the league. It is also worth mentioning that Richardson's participation in the Eurobasket Summer League played a crucial role in securing her position in professional basketball, highlighting her dedication and talent as a champion athlete.
