Here is the weekly review of the top performing Demon Deacons alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Greek champion Kostas Mitoglou, a 6'11'' forward/center who graduated from Wake Forest in 2018 and currently plays professionally in Greece, played a crucial role in Panathinaikos Aktor Athens' dominant 90-67 victory over Maccabi Tel-Aviv, the league finalist with a 0-3 record, in a recent Euroleague matchup. Mitoglou's impressive performance included scoring 8 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 17 minutes of play. His stellar contributions on the court were pivotal in securing the win for his team, highlighting his prowess as a true champion. Panathinaikos Aktor Athens currently leads the league with a flawless 3-0 record in the Regular Season, with Mitoglou showcasing an average of 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in the three games played thus far. As Mitoglou enters his fourth year with the team, his consistent performance and impactful presence demonstrate his value as a key player in the team's pursuit of success in the ongoing season.

   #2. Swedish player Bo Klintman, a 23-year-old former Demon Deacons standout from the class of 2003, who currently plays professionally in Italy, made a significant impact in his debut game for Virtus Segafredo Bologna this season. Standing tall at 6'9'' and playing as a forward/center, he demonstrated his skills on the court during Sunday night's match against the 14th-ranked Openjobmetis Varese. In a dominating performance, Virtus Segafredo Bologna emerged victorious with a commanding 90-69 win. Klintman showcased his versatility by contributing 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 21 minutes of play. His well-rounded performance played a key role in securing the win for his team, highlighting his capabilities as a true champion. With this impressive showing, Klintman proved his worth on the court and established himself as a valuable asset for Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Currently, his team holds the seventh position in the Italian Serie A league standings.

   #3. Ian DuBose, a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Wake Forest in 2021 and received the ACC All-Academic Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Denmark. In a recent game, he led the Bakken Bears to a decisive victory over the ninth-ranked Gladsaxe, with a final score of 112-75 in the Danish BasketLigaen. DuBose's impressive performance included 13 points, 3 assists, and 5 steals in just 18 minutes of play. The Bakken Bears Aarhus, with a 3-0 record, are currently at the top of the league standings. DuBose has been instrumental in his team's success so far this season, contributing significantly to all three wins in the Regular Season. His standout performance against Gladsaxe highlights his skills and determination as a true champion on the basketball court. With solid statistics of 11.3 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game, and 2.3 steals per game in the three games he has played this season, DuBose is proving to be a key player for his team. His consistent contributions and leadership qualities are essential in driving the Bakken Bears towards their goals, showcasing his potential as a finalist in the making.

   #4. In a thrilling Tuesday night Euroleague match, Codi Miller-McIntyre, a 32-year-old guard standing at 6'3'' and an alumnus of the Demon Deacons from 2016, showcased his skills for Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus in a crucial 2-point victory against the 11th-ranked Zalgiris, with a final score of 93-91. Despite scoring just 4 points, Miller-McIntyre made a significant impact by contributing 6 assists during his 13 minutes on the court, helping his team secure the win. Currently placed seventh in the league standings with a 2-1 record, Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus is benefitting from Miller-McIntyre's talents in his debut season with the team. His performance against Zalgiris not only led his team to victory but also solidified his position as the champion. Throughout the season, he has been averaging 2.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, and an impressive 6.7 assists per game in the three matches he has played so far. It's worth noting that Miller-McIntyre, a naturalized American player, is proving to be a valuable asset for Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus with his playmaking abilities and contribution to the team's success.

   #5. Efton Reid III, a 7'0'' center who graduated from Wake Forest in 2025 and now plays professionally in Lithuania, played a crucial role in Siauliai's recent 74-71 victory against the eighth-ranked Lions in the BKT Eurocup. Despite only playing for 14 minutes, Reid III managed to score 9 points and block 2 shots, making a significant impact in his first game of the season for Siauliai. His impressive performance helped his team secure the win, highlighting his potential as a future champion. In another game against London L., Reid III demonstrated his skills by contributing 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist to help his team clinch another victory. His consistent and valuable contributions on the court exemplify the qualities of a true finalist, showcasing his determination and talent in leading his team to success. Currently, his team holds the second position in the league standings, with Reid III playing a key role in their strong performance.

   #6. French champion Jaylen Hoard, a 6'9'' forward and 27-year-old Demon Deacons alumnus from 2019, currently playing professionally in Israel, recently faced off against Besiktas with his team, Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv. Despite his valiant efforts, Hoard could not lead his team to victory, as they were defeated by a 16-point margin, 109-93. In the game, Hoard showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists in 28 minutes of play. His individual performance was commendable, yet it was not enough to secure a win for his team. Throughout the season, Hoard has maintained solid averages of 8.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in the three games played so far. It is worth noting that Jaylen Hoard, a naturalized French player, continues to showcase his talent and determination on the court, striving to make a significant impact for his team as they compete in the league.

   #7. Chaundee Brown Jr., a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Michigan in 2021 and previously played at Wake Forest from 2017 to 2020, showcased his talent in a recent game for Fukui Blowinds in Japan. Despite his stellar performance, the team fell short in a close 82-80 loss on the road to Swoops, who are ranked fifth in the Center group standings. Brown Jr. proved to be a standout player for Fukui Blowinds, leading the team in scoring with 21 points and contributing 5 assists in 32 minutes of play. In a previous game against Gifu, he displayed his versatility by scoring 21 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists, yet his team was unable to secure the victory. Throughout the season, Brown Jr. has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game over the course of four games. Despite the challenges faced by the team, Brown Jr. continues to excel as a key player for Fukui Blowinds in his professional basketball career in Japan.
