Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bulls players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Jose Placer-Diaz (18 points), Brandon Stroud (20 points), and Chris Perry (13 points).

#1. Puerto Rican player Jose Placer-Diaz, a 6'1'' guard aged 26, graduated from the University of South Florida in 2024. He played a crucial role in helping his team secure the AAC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently, he is pursuing his professional basketball career in Puerto Rico. In a recent game, Placer-Diaz, despite his remarkable performance, couldn't prevent his team, Indios de Mayaguez, from suffering a heavy defeat. The fifth-placed Mayaguez (13-21) faced a tough challenge against the second-ranked Criollos in Group A and lost 114-86 on the road. Placer-Diaz showcased his talent by scoring 18 points in just 24 minutes, establishing himself as the second-highest scorer in the game. This achievement is particularly impressive considering he is only in his second season in professional basketball. The Regular Season has already concluded, with Placer-Diaz finishing the season on a high note. In a previous match against Caguas, Placer-Diaz exhibited his skills on the court by scoring 18 points and securing 1 rebound. Despite his individual performance, his team was unable to secure a victory in that game. Throughout this season, Placer-Diaz has maintained an average of 3.8 points per game in the 20 games he has participated in so far.

#2. Brandon Stroud, a 6'6'' guard who is 24 years old and an alum of the Bulls from 2025, is currently playing professionally in New Zealand. In a recent game, Stroud, despite his notable performance, could not prevent the Taranaki Airs (5-10) from a 77-90 loss to the higher-ranked (#5) Nuggets in Dunedin. As the top scorer of the game with 20 points, Stroud also contributed 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 33 minutes of play. This is quite impressive, especially considering that this is only his first season in professional basketball. His overall stats for the year are decent, with averages of 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.7 steals per game, the latter being the second best in the league. It is noteworthy that Stroud also participated in the Eurobasket Summer League, an experience that helped him secure his current position in professional basketball.

#3. Chris Perry, a 6'8'' forward aged 32, who graduated from LMU in 2017 and previously played in South Florida from 2013 to 2016, is currently playing professionally in Mexico. In a recent game, Perry was a major contributor to Astros de Jalisco's victory over the closely-ranked Frayles de Guasave with a score of 76-61 in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. Perry showcased his talent by scoring 13 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in just 16 minutes of play. This game was a highly anticipated matchup between two top 4 ranked teams, with Astros de Jalisco (38-2) leading the league standings. Perry's impressive performance not only helped his team secure their 14th consecutive victory but also highlighted his capabilities as a true champion on the court. Throughout the season, Perry has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.3 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game in the 52 games he has played so far, further solidifying his position as a standout finalist in the league.

#4. Josh Omojafo, a 6'5'' guard and Bulls alumni from 2026 who helped them secure the AAC Regular Season Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. In a recent game, despite Omojafo's solid performance, he was unable to lift the Brampton Honey Badgers (7-6) to victory. The team, ranked #3, suffered a 69-82 defeat to the Shooting Stars in Toronto, marking their fifth consecutive loss. During the game, Omojafo showcased his skills by scoring 10 points and grabbing 1 rebound in just 20 minutes of play. Despite his impressive individual contribution, the Brampton Honey Badgers were unable to secure a win. Omojafo's performance in a previous game against Scarborough was noteworthy as well, where he scored 10 points, but unfortunately, his team still ended up on the losing side. Throughout this season, Omojafo has been averaging 9.3 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game across 13 games played.

#5. Jamir Chaplin, a 6'4'' guard who graduated from UALR in 2024 and previously played in South Florida between 2019 and 2023, is currently competing professionally in Canada. Despite his efforts, he could not help the Saskatchewan Mamba in their recent game against the Stingers in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. The Mamba, ranked #3, narrowly lost to the Stingers 105-103 in Edmonton. It was a tough match for Chaplin, who only scored 2 points in 10 minutes of play. This game might not be remembered as one of his best performances. Although Chaplin's contribution in the game was limited, he managed to put up decent stats, scoring 2 points and grabbing 1 rebound. This marks his first season with the Saskatchewan Mamba, and he has been averaging 11.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game over nine games. Despite the loss against the Stingers, Chaplin continues to showcase his skills on the court and contribute to his team's efforts in the ongoing season.
