In a recent game, he led the Southland Sharks to a thrilling 103-98 victory over the Rams, a closely-ranked opponent with an 11-4 record. This impressive win was a result of Boone's outstanding performance, earning him the MVP title for the game. Boone showcased his skills by recording a double-double, scoring 35 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in just 34 minutes of play. This exceptional display of talent is even more remarkable considering he is only in his second season of professional basketball. The game between the Sharks and the Rams was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top 4 ranked teams in the league, with the Southland Sharks currently holding the top spot with a 14-3 record. This victory marked the third consecutive win for Boone's team, further solidifying their position at the top of the league standings. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, every upcoming game will be crucial for the team's playoff aspirations. Boone's stellar performance against the Rams, where he not only scored 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds but also contributed 1 assist, highlighted his exceptional talent and leadership on the court. His consistent high-level play throughout the season has established him as a true champion. In his 14 games played so far, Boone has been putting up impressive numbers, averaging 17.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, further solidifying his status as a finalist in the league.

Brown showcased his skills by achieving a double-double, scoring 15 points, making 11 assists, and grabbing 6 rebounds in 32 minutes of play. Unfortunately, this defeat marked the end of Canterbury Rams' three-game winning streak. In the game against the Sharks, Brown displayed his prowess by contributing 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists. Despite his remarkable performance, his team fell short and ended up on the losing side. Throughout the season, Brown has maintained high statistics, averaging 17.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 blocks (ranking fourth in the league), and 1.7 steals per game in the 13 games played so far.
