Here is the weekly review of the top performing Minutewomen alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Kim Pierre-Louis (6'0''-F/C-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Germany) led Gruener Stern Keltern to a victory over the league leader BC Pharmaserv Marburg (11-1) 73-57 in the German DBBL last Friday. She was MVP of the game. Pierre-Louis had a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 11 rebounds. She also added 2 blocks and 3 steals in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Gruener Stern Keltern (7-4) is placed fourth in the DBBL. Pierre-Louis has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages 15.4ppg and 7.5rpg in 11 games she played so far.
#2. Alyssa Lawrence (6'1''-F-95, graduated '17, plays in Sweden) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked IK Eos (4-4) 79-62 in the Swedish Damligan on Sunday night. Lawrence recorded 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. A3 Basket Umea (7-0) is placed second in the Damligan. So far her team won all seven games in the Regular Season. It's Lawrence's first season with the team. She has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.6apg and 2.6spg. Lawrence is a naturalized French.
#3. Rashida Timbilla (6'3''-F-92, graduated '16, currently in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL could not help XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen (4-7) in their last game. Despite Timbilla's good performance XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen lost 64-74 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) TSV 1880 Wasserburg. She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Timbilla also added 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 38 minutes. It's Timbilla's first season with the team. This year she averages 9.2ppg, 12.0rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg in 11 games.
#4. Maggie Mulligan (6'3''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help Braunschweig in their game against Hannover (5-7) in the German DBBL. Mulligan recorded 7 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. Braunschweig was crushed 82-54 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Hannover (#6). It's Mulligan's first season with the team. She has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg and 9.5rpg.
