Here is the weekly review of the top performing Fightin Blue Hens alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Erik Timko, a 6'5'' guard who recently graduated from Delaware in 2025, showcased his basketball prowess by guiding his team to the final of the CAA Tournament in the same year. Currently playing professionally in the Czech Republic, Timko continues to impress as he led Decin to a notable 86-78 victory over Brno, one of the league's weaker teams with a 0-4 record. In this recent game, Timko's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP, scoring an impressive 27 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists in just 32 minutes of play. This exceptional display of skill is particularly remarkable considering it is only his second season in professional basketball. Decin's triumph over Brno has positioned them well in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL, currently placing fourth in the league with a 3-1 record. Despite the early stage of the season, Timko's impact on the team is evident as he continues to deliver outstanding performances. With an average of 20.3 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game in the four matches he has played so far, Timko is proving to be a valuable asset to his team. As a key player, Timko's stellar contributions have played a crucial role in Decin's success, further solidifying his reputation as a champion.

#2. Canadian Nate Darling, a 6'5'' shooting guard and 28-year-old Fightin Blue Hens alum from 2020, currently plays professionally in Spain. In a recent Spanish Liga Endesa match, he played a vital role for Surne Bilbao Basket in their impressive 107-92 victory over the 14th-ranked Manresa team. Despite scoring only 2 points and contributing 3 assists in 21 minutes of play, Darling made a significant impact in his first game of the season for Surne Bilbao Basket. His team currently holds the third position in the league standings. During the game against Manresa, Darling showcased his skills by scoring 2 points, collecting 2 rebounds, and distributing 3 assists, which greatly contributed to his team's success. His valuable performance on the court led to his team emerging as the champion of the game.

#3. Niels Lane, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Delaware in 2025 and received the CAA All-Tournament Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the Czech Republic. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in SLUNETA Usti nad Labem's victory over the closely-ranked Opava with a score of 86-76 in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL. Lane, in his first season with the team, showcased his skills by recording 10 points and 2 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play. This win marked his team's third consecutive victory in a row, placing them sixth in the league standings. Lane's strong performance on the court demonstrated why he is considered a champion. So far this season, he has been contributing significantly, averaging 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game over four games.

#4. Italian Gianmarco Arletti, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'6'' and an alum of the Great Danes class of 2024, previously playing for Delaware from 2020 to 2023, showcased his skills as a professional player in Italy. In a recent match, he played a crucial role in Latina's triumph over the 12th-ranked Faenza with a final score of 82-75 in the Italian Serie B Nazionale, the third division of Italian basketball, held last Sunday. Arletti's impressive performance included scoring 13 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 4 assists in just 27 minutes of play. This game marked his debut for Latina this season, and his exceptional play significantly contributed to the team's victory. Currently, his team holds the second position in Group B standings, with Arletti emerging as a standout champion in the match against Faenza, showcasing his prowess on the court and proving to be a key player for Latina's success.
