Every week we bring you a list of the top former Miners players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Look at great performance of McKenzie Moore (22 points), Lee Moore (21 points), and Otis Frazier III (11 points).

#1. Experienced champion McKenzie Moore, a 6'6'' guard at 34 years old who graduated from UTEP in 2014 and currently plays professionally in Lebanon, showcased his skills by leading Homentmen to a thrilling victory against league leader Al Riyadi with a score of 126-125 in a highly anticipated derby game in the Lebanese Decathlon Lebanese Basketball League on Sunday night. In an impressive display, Moore contributed 22 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks in 45 minutes of play during his debut game for Homentmen this season. Despite his team being placed seventh in the league, Moore's exceptional performance against Al Riyadi highlighted his prowess on the court, establishing him as a true champion in the game. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, Moore's leadership and skills will be crucial for Homentmen as they aim to secure a spot in the playoffs.

#2. Lee Moore, a 30-year-old 6'5'' guard and Miners alumnus from 2016, currently plays professionally in Italy. Despite his exceptional performance, Moore, a former All-C-USA Third Team awardee, was unable to assist Fortitudo BO (25-12) in their recent game last Monday. The team suffered a defeat on the road against the lower-ranked Verona (#4) with a score of 86-73. In the match, Moore showcased his skills by emerging as the top scorer with 21 points, along with contributing 5 assists and 3 steals during his 36 minutes on the court. This season marks Moore's debut with the team, where his outstanding individual performance has been evident. He has been maintaining impressive statistics, averaging 15.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Despite his notable contributions and strong performance against Verona, which included scoring 21 points, securing 2 rebounds, and distributing 5 assists, Moore could not prevent his team from ending up on the losing side.

#3. Otis Frazier III, a 6'6'' forward who recently graduated from UTEP in 2025 and received the C-USA All-Defensive Team award, is currently playing professional basketball in Israel. In a recent game, he led his team, E.Netanya, to a thrilling 83-79 victory against the eighth-ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva. Frazier III showcased his skills by contributing 11 points and grabbing 9 rebounds during the intense 33-minute match. Despite Elitzur BRIGA Netanya being placed 12th in the league with a record of 7-19, Frazier III's impressive performance helped break their four-game losing streak. This win was especially significant as it marked the team's first victory after a series of defeats in the concluded Regular Season. Frazier III's exceptional season is reflected in his high statistics, averaging 17.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. His remarkable performance against Hapoel Beer Sheva further solidified his reputation as a skilled champion on the court.

#4. Canadian player Shamar Givance, a 26-year-old point guard standing at 5'11" and an alumnus of the Miners class of 2023, currently plays professionally in France. Despite his notable achievements, such as receiving the CSC NCAA Division I Academic All-District Team award, Givance couldn't lead Champagne (21-17) to victory in their recent game last Thursday. The team suffered a close 79-78 defeat at home against the second-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez. In the game, Givance showcased his skills by scoring 13 points in just 22 minutes of play, making him the second-highest scorer for Champagne. He had an impressive performance overall against Pau-Lacq-Orthez, contributing 13 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Despite his individual efforts, his team fell short in securing the win. Throughout this season, Givance has maintained solid averages of 9.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his value as a key player for his team, even in challenging matchups like the recent game against Pau-Lacq-Orthez.

#5. Kevin Kalu, a 6'9'' forward aged 23, recently graduated from UTEP in 2025 and currently plays professionally in the Czech Republic. In a recent game, he was unable to lead Brno (23-13) to victory against Pardubice (27-9) in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL. Despite his best efforts, scoring 4 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in 21 minutes, Brno (23-13) succumbed to a 90-75 defeat against Pardubice. This was a challenging matchup as Brno, sitting in third place, faced the second-ranked team in the Places 1-8 group on their home court. It is noteworthy that this is Kalu's debut season with the team, where he has maintained an average of 9.5 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game. Additionally, Kalu, a naturalized Nigerian, showcased his skills in the game against Pardubice, displaying resilience and determination despite the final outcome.

#6. Vincent Hunter, a 6'8'' center/forward who is 31 years old and an alum of the Miners class of 2015, currently plays professionally in Russia. Despite his efforts, he could not lead Lokomotiv to victory over CSKA, resulting in a 103-92 defeat. In the game, the champion scored only 2 points and blocked 2 shots in 22 minutes on the court, which was not one of his standout performances. Although the finalist's individual performance against CSKA was decent, contributing 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist, it was not enough to secure a win for his team. His statistics for the season are solid, averaging 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, ranking him as the third-best in the league in steals. Despite the loss, Hunter continues to be a key player for his team.

#7. Spanish player Eric Vila, standing at 6'10'' and 28 years old, a UTEP graduate in 2020, currently competes professionally in Spain. In the recent match against BAXI Manresa, Vila, a finalist, was unable to lead his team, Draemland Gran Canaria, to victory. Despite his efforts, he only managed to score 2 points and secure 2 rebounds during his limited 5-minute appearance on the court. Unfortunately, his team suffered a defeat with a final score of 87-80. This game did not stand out as one of his best performances. Throughout the season, Vila has been averaging 3.0 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game.

#8. Omega Harris, a 6'3'' guard who is 31 years old and an alum of the Miners class of 2018, is currently playing professionally in the TBL. In a recent game, he was unable to lead the Lebanon Leprechauns to a victory over the St. Louis Griffins. Despite his strong efforts, Harris contributed 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist in 35 minutes of play. The Lebanon Leprechauns were defeated by the St. Louis Griffins with a final score of 136-124 in The Basketball League. Harris showcased his skills with solid statistics this season, averaging 10.9 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, 4.4 assists per game, and 1.5 steals per game.

#9. Dominic Artis, a 6'3'' guard who graduated from UTEP in 2017 and currently plays professionally in Lebanon, showcased his talent as a major contributor in Antonine's recent triumph over the tenth-ranked NSA with a score of 84-77 in the Lebanese Decathlon Lebanese Basketball League. In this exciting game, Artis displayed his skills by recording 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in just 31 minutes of play. His exceptional performance against NSA, where he scored 15 points, secured 9 rebounds, and provided 5 assists, was instrumental in leading his team to victory. Throughout the season, Artis has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Notably, he received the All-C-USA Second Team award in 2017, highlighting his basketball prowess. It is worth mentioning that Artis is a naturalized American player, bringing his expertise and skills to the professional basketball scene in Lebanon.
