#1. Antiesha Brown (5'10''-G-92, played in 2010-12, plays pro in Italy) could not help Battipaglia in their last game. Despite her very good performance the league leader Battipaglia lost 68-79 on the road to the lower-ranked (#6) Lucca. Brown was the top scorer with 24 points (made all of her nine free throws !!!) in 35 minutes. It's Brown's first season with the team. She has individually a very good year with high stats. Brown averages 20.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg in 10 games she played so far.
#2. Dayo Olabode (6'1''-F-96, graduated '18, plays in Spain) led Leganes to a victory against the 12th-ranked Real Canoe (6-7) 89-81 in the Spanish LF2 (second division) on Saturday night. Olabode scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her first season in pro basketball. Laboratorios Ynsadiet Lagenes (8-3) is placed fourth in Group B. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. This season Olabode averages 5.9ppg and 4.3rpg.
