#1. Brazilian Oscar Da Silva, a 27-year-old forward/center standing at 6'9'' who graduated from Stanford in 2021 and received the All-Pac First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Germany. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in FC Bayern Muenchen Basketball's dominating victory over the closely-ranked Telekom Baskets with a final score of 91-69 in the German easyCredit BBL. Da Silva showcased his skills by scoring 17 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in just 26 minutes of play. This matchup was highly anticipated as it featured two top 4 ranked teams, with FC Bayern Muenchen Basketball (29-5) leading the league standings. The victory marked their ninth consecutive win, with Da Silva's stellar performance contributing significantly to the team's success. His impressive statistics for the season include averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game over the 37 games he has played so far. Da Silva's dual American and Brazilian citizenship allows him to play as a domestic player in Brazil as well, adding to his versatility and potential in the world of professional basketball. #2. Experienced Anthony Brown, a 6'7'' small forward aged 33 and an alumnus of Cardinal from 2015, played a pivotal role in their NIT Champion victory that year. Currently playing professionally in Turkey, he recently showcased his skills in a thrilling match against the seventh-ranked Galatasaray, helping Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul secure a 71-68 victory in the Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi. In this intense derby game, Brown demonstrated his versatility by scoring 7 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in just 23 minutes on the court. Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul, with a record of 25-5, holds the second position in the league standings, thanks in part to Brown's consistent contributions. His exceptional performance against Galatasaray not only highlighted his individual talents but also underscored his ability to make crucial plays when it matters most, exemplifying his qualities as a true champion. #4. Australian basketball player Isaac White, standing at 6'2'' and aged 27, is a former Lancers alumnus from 2021 who previously played at Stanford from 2017 to 2020. Scoring an impressive 25 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 8 assists, White's stellar performance was instrumental in securing the win for his team. Notably, he was flawless from the free-throw line, going 5-for-5 in 31 minutes of play. The Rockingham Flames, currently holding the top spot in the West group with a record of 10-2, have been on a winning streak, triumphing in their sixth consecutive game. White's exceptional year is highlighted by his remarkable statistics, averaging 28.0 points per game, along with 5.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 10 games. His consistent high-level play underscores his status as a true champion in the sport, making significant contributions to his team's success.
