#1. Danish Adam Heede-Andersen, a 30-year-old guard standing at 6'2'' who graduated from St. Cloud St. in 2019 and currently plays professionally in Denmark, showcased his skills as a major contributor in Svendborg's recent victory over the closely-ranked Randers in the Danish BasketLigaen. In a thrilling match on Wednesday night, Svendborg emerged victorious with a score of 96-83. Heede-Andersen's standout performance included scoring 19 points and making 5 assists in just 25 minutes of play. Svendborg Rabbits, with a record of 2-1, currently holds the fourth position in the league standings. Despite it being early in the season, the team's potential is evident, and the competition remains open. Heede-Andersen's stellar display in the game against Randers exemplified his skill and determination, proving himself to be a true champion on the court. Throughout the season, Heede-Andersen has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His consistent performance and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to his team as they strive for success in the league.
#2. Spanish Sean Smith, a 30-year-old 6'8'' forward and Huskies alumni from 2019, who received the All-NSIC Defensive Player of the Year award that year, currently plays professionally in France. In the recent match, he represented Saint Chamond Basket Valle du Gier but was unable to lead his team to victory against STB Le Havre in the French ELITE 2 league. Despite Smith's notable performance of 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 19 minutes of play, Saint Chamond Basket Valle du Gier suffered a 90-77 defeat on the road against the higher-ranked STB Le Havre (#8). This game marked Smith's debut for Saint Chamond Basket Valle du Gier this season, showcasing his skills and determination on the court. Although he displayed an impressive performance, his team fell short in securing the win against their opponents.
