#1. Jhonathan Dunn (6'4''-PG-1998, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Portugal) led FC Porto to an easy victory against the league outsider Vitoria SC (0-5) crushing them 105-85 in the Portuguese Liga Betclic on Saturday night. He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. FC Porto (3-2) is placed sixth in the Liga Betclic. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Dunn's first year with the team. Dunn has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized Mexican.
#2. Benno Zecic (6'4''-G, played in 2023-24, plays in Bosnia) was the major contributor in Promo's victory against the closely-ranked Borac BL (4-1) 81-70 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I in Friday night's game. He scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. KK Promo Donji Vakuf (3-2) is placed sixth in the Division I. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Zecic's first year with the team. Zecic has relatively good stats this season 13.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.8apg and 1.6spg in five games he played so far.
#3. Maik Bouwer (6'8''-F-1999, played in 2019-23, currently in Holland) led his Dutch team Leeuwarden to a victory against one of league's weakest teams BAL Weert (0-7) 86-72 in the BNXT League last Saturday. Bouwer recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds in 34 minutes. LWD Basket Leeuwarden (1-7) is placed 16th in the BNXT League. It was his team's first victory after seven consecutive loses. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Bouwer's first year with the team. This season he averages 9.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.6apg.
#4. Matt Treacy (6'7''-SF-1998, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Iceland) could not help Skallagrimur in their last game. Despite Treacy's very good performance Skallagrimur lost 104-111 on the road to the leading Breidablik. He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Treacy has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.3apg in six games.
#5. Adokiye Iyaye (6'3''-G-2000, graduated '2023, plays in Portugal) was not able to help Sampaense (2-4) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance the sixth-placed Sampaense (2-4) was edged87-84 at home by the higher-ranked Illiabum (#3) in the North group. Iyaye scored 14 points in 35 minutes. This season Iyaye has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg and 2.8rpg. Iyaye is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#6. Nick Davis (6'9''-F/C-2001, played in 2019-23, currently in Luxembourg) contributed to Etzella's victory against the seventh-ranked Amicale 85-71 in the Luxembourg LBBL last Saturday. He scored 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Davis has very impressive stats this year 21.9ppg, 9.0rpg and 2.6apg in seven games.
#7. Timur Krupalija (6'9''-F-2001, played in 2024-25, plays pro in Bosnia) was not able to secure a victory for the league outsider KK Radnicki Gorazde in their game against Orlovik in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. Krupalija scored 7 points in 21 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 99-79. This season Krupalija averages 4.4ppg and 2.8rpg.
#8. Jeremy Golson (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2024-25, plays in Spain) contributed to a Sol Girones' victory against the seventh-ranked Getafe 88-82 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 9 points. This year Golson averages 9.7ppg in six games.
#9. Ben Baker-McCann (6'2''-G, played in 2023-24, currently in United Kingdom) managed to help Milton Keynes Breakers to win against the leader Hoods crushing them 81-55 in the British BCB (second division) last Friday. Baker-McCann scored only 4 points in 14 minutes. This season Baker-McCann averages 8.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg.
