#1. Antonius Cleveland, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from SEMO in 2017 and received the All-OVC First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Russia. In a recent derby game in the VTB United League, he played a pivotal role in PBC CSKA Moscow's victory over the tenth-ranked MBA Moscow with a score of 82-65 last Sunday. Despite only playing for 16 minutes, Cleveland managed to contribute significantly, recording 5 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. This game marked his first appearance for CSKA this season, and his impact was immediately felt as his team sits at the top of the league standings. It is worth noting that the season is still in its early stages, leaving room for unpredictable developments. Nevertheless, Cleveland's standout performance against MBA Moscow showcased his versatility on the court, as he not only scored crucial points but also contributed with rebounds and assists. His exceptional play played a vital role in guiding his team to victory, ultimately helping them secure the title of the champion.
#2. Brendan Terry, a 6'7'' forward and 23-year-old Redhawks alumni from the class of 2026, currently competes professionally in Germany. Despite his All-OVC Second Team award in 2026, Terry was unable to lead Bamberg Baskets (1-2) to victory against EnBW Ludwigsburg (2-1) in the German easyCredit BBL. In a challenging matchup on the road, Bamberg Baskets fell short, losing 96-103 to the higher-ranked (#7) EnBW Ludwigsburg, with Terry contributing 4 points and 4 rebounds in just 10 minutes of play. Terry, who boasts both American and German citizenship, holds the advantage of being considered a domestic player in Germany. Despite his team's recent struggles, Terry has maintained an average of 2.0 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game across the three games he has participated in this season. His dedication and contributions on the court demonstrate his commitment to improving and striving for success in the league.
#3. Serbian champion Milos Vranes, a 6'7'' guard/forward who is 31 years old and graduated from SEMO in 2018, currently plays professionally in Austria. In their recent game, Vranes couldn't turn the tide for BK Karbon-X Dukes Klosterneuburg (0-1) as they faced off against the Nord Dragonz, resulting in a 74-80 loss in Eisenstadt. Despite the defeat, Vranes emerged as the team's second-best scorer, contributing 12 points along with 4 rebounds during his 28 minutes on the court. This game marked his debut for BK Karbon-X Dukes Klosterneuburg this season. Vranes displayed a commendable performance against Eisenstadt, showcasing his scoring prowess and rebounding skills, yet his team ultimately fell short against the Nord Dragonz.
#4. Quatarrius Wilson, a 6'8'' center/forward and 30-year-old Redhawks alumnus from 2020, showcased his prowess on the court as a major contributor in the recent Olimpia Kings' victory against Campo Alto. In a thrilling derby game in the Paraguayan LNB, Olimpia Kings triumphed over Campo Alto, the sixth-ranked team, with a resounding score of 109-63 last Friday. Wilson's standout performance saw him record 21 points, secure 8 rebounds, and deliver 2 assists in just 21 minutes of play. His remarkable display not only propelled Olimpia Kings to victory but also solidified his status as a finalist. The team, with an impressive 11-3 record, currently holds the second position in the league standings. The Regular Season has come to a close, with Wilson's exceptional stats this year further underscoring his prowess on the court. In the 14 games he has played, Wilson has maintained solid averages of 13.1 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game (the second-best in the league), and 2.6 assists per game, showcasing his versatility and impact as a champion.
