Especially interesting is good performance of Caleb Davis (26 points), C.J. Turnage (16 points), and Darnell Hoskins Jr. (16 points).
#1. Australian Caleb Davis, a 31-year-old forward standing at 6'9'' who graduated from SVSU in 2017 and currently plays professionally in Australia, played a pivotal role in the Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves' recent victory against the seventh-ranked Hawks with a score of 110-99 in the Australian NBL One, which is the second division of the league. In this exciting match held last Saturday, Davis showcased his talent by scoring an impressive 26 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 4 assists in 34 minutes of play. This stellar performance not only highlighted his prowess on the court but also contributed significantly to his team's success. The Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves, currently holding a record of 13-4, are positioned third in the West group standings, with Davis emerging as a key player for the team. Throughout the season, Davis has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game across the 17 games he has participated in so far. His consistent contributions and remarkable skills truly exemplify his status as a champion in the league, making him a standout finalist in every game he competes in.
#2. C.J. Turnage, a 30-year-old former Cardinals alumni from 2017 standing at 6'7'' and currently playing professionally in Australia, showcased his exceptional skills in a recent Australian NBL One game. In a matchup where he teamed up with Caleb Davis, Turnage led Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves to a 110-99 victory over the seventh-ranked Hawks with an impressive performance. During the game, Turnage's contributions were remarkable as he scored 16 points, secured 7 rebounds, made 5 assists, and also managed to add 3 steals, all in 36 minutes of play. His exceptional display on the court not only highlighted his talent but also significantly impacted his team's success, ultimately leading them to victory and solidifying his status as a finalist. Throughout the season, Turnage has maintained high statistics, averaging 18.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game in the 17 games he has played so far. His consistent performance and valuable contributions have undoubtedly been instrumental in his team's success, further establishing him as a champion in the league.

Darnell Hoskins Jr., a 29-year-old guard standing at 5'11'' who graduated from SVSU in 2022 and was honored with the All-GLIAC Second Team award that year, currently showcases his skills as a professional player in Australia. Despite his notable performance, the champion Canberra Gunners (10-6) faced a setback in their recent game against the Sharks, ultimately losing 87-100 on the road. Hoskins Jr., the team's second-best scorer, contributed 16 points in a mere 17 minutes of play. This defeat marked the third consecutive loss for the finalist Canberra Gunners, highlighting the importance of the remaining three games in the Regular Season. Every upcoming match will now hold significant weight in determining the team's standing. In a commendable display of skill against the Sharks, Hoskins Jr. scored 16 points and provided 1 assist, although his efforts were not enough to secure a victory for his team. Throughout the season, Hoskins Jr. has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.1 points per game and 1.4 assists per game across 16 games.
#4. Australian James Toohey, a 6'2'' guard and 28-year-old Cardinals alumnus from 2020, currently plays professionally in Australia. He is a teammate of the aforementioned Darnell Hoskins Jr. and recently shared the court with him in the latest Australian NBL One game. Despite Toohey's efforts, he was unable to assist the Canberra Gunners (10-6) in defeating the Sharks (8-6). In the game, Toohey contributed 6 points and 5 assists in 29 minutes of play. The Canberra Gunners, holding the fifth spot with a 10-6 record, suffered a 87-100 loss to the seventh-ranked Sharks in the East group at Sutherland. This marks Toohey's fourth season with the team. Despite his commendable performance of 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Sharks, Toohey was unable to guide his team to a victory. His individual statistics reflect an average of 8.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 16 matches this season.
