#1. Mary Baskerville, a 25-year-old center standing at 6'3" who graduated from Quinnipiac in 2023, is currently playing professionally in Turkey. Recently, she played a key role in Kirklareli's victory over the closely-ranked Turgutlu with a score of 75-69 in the Turkish TKBL (second division). Despite only playing for 17 minutes, she managed to contribute 7 points to her team's win. The match was highly significant as it featured two top 4 ranked teams facing off. Kirklareli Basketbol, currently ranked fourth in the league with a record of 23-5, secured their fifth consecutive victory with Mary's help. Notably, this is her first season playing for the team, and her impact on the court has been remarkable. In the game against Turgutlu, Mary showcased her skills by not only scoring 7 points but also grabbing 3 rebounds, displaying her versatility and importance to the team. Her standout performance as a champion was instrumental in guiding her team to success against their strong opponents. Throughout the season, Mary has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 19.2 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 2.0 blocks per game (ranking second best in the league), and 2.8 steals per game in the 31 games she has played so far. Her consistent high-level performance has undoubtedly established her as a finalist in the league.
