#1. Mike Davis Jr., a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Queens, NC in 2018 and received the All-SAC Second Team award, is currently playing professionally in France. In a recent game, he was a key player for SIG Strasbourg, helping them secure a decisive 102-81 victory over the closely-ranked Chalon/Saor with his impressive performance. Davis Jr. scored 22 points in just 26 minutes of play, showcasing his skills on the court. Despite SIG Strasbourg being placed eighth in the league with a record of 17-13, every game is crucial as they approach the end of the Play-In stage. This season marks Davis Jr.'s first with the team, and he has been making a significant impact with his stellar performance. His exceptional stats, averaging 18.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 29 games he has played so far, highlight his valuable contributions to the team. With his standout display in the recent game against Chalon/Saone, leading his team to victory, Mike Davis Jr. has proven himself to be a true champion on the court, demonstrating his skills and dedication to the game.
#2. Todd Withers, a 30-year-old 6'8'' forward and Royals alumnus from 2018, is currently playing professionally in New Zealand. Recently, he led the Canterbury Rams to a thrilling 100-93 victory over the eighth-ranked Jets (3-7) in the New Zealand National Basketball League. In this game, Withers showcased his skills by scoring 22 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 1 assist in just 21 minutes of play. His exceptional performance earned him the MVP title of the game, solidifying his status as the champion of the matchup. With this victory, the Canterbury Rams (7-2) now hold the second position in the league standings. Withers' impressive stats this season include averaging 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in seven appearances. His contribution on the court has been instrumental in the team's success, making him a key player for the Rams as they pursue their goals in the league.
#3. Brazilian Leonardo Colimerio, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' and a graduate of Queens, NC in 2025, made a significant impact in the Australian NBL One league. After helping his college team win the CBI Championship Quarterfinals, Colimerio transitioned to playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, he led the Eltham Wildcats to a dominant 108-65 victory over the 11th-ranked Chargers, showcasing his skills on the court. Colimerio's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP, as he contributed 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in just 23 minutes of play. This remarkable display of talent is even more impressive considering it is only his first season in professional basketball. The victory not only highlighted his individual capabilities but also demonstrated his ability to lead his team to success. In another game against Hobart C, Colimerio once again showcased his talent by recording 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. His consistent performance throughout the season has been instrumental in Eltham Wildcats' success, with the team currently holding the second position in the South group standings. With an average of 12.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in 12 appearances, Colimerio has been maintaining good statistics this season. His dedication, skill, and determination on the court truly embody the qualities of a champion, setting him apart as a standout player in the league.
#4. Jamari Smith, a 25-year-old 6'8'' center/forward and Racers alumnus from the class of 2023, previously played in Queens, NC between 2018 and 2022 before starting his professional career in Hungary. Despite his efforts, Smith could not lead Atomeromu to victory against Kaposvari in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/A. In the recent game, Atomeromu lost 66-73 to Kaposvari, the third-ranked team, with Smith contributing 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 18 minutes of play. Although Smith's performance was noteworthy, his team ultimately fell short. Throughout this season, Smith has been averaging 6.7 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game across 18 games. Despite the loss, Smith has been a valuable asset to Atomeromu with his consistent contributions on the court.
