#1. Jeanae Terry, a 25-year-old point guard standing at 5'1'' who graduated from Purdue in 2024 and received the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that year, is currently playing professionally in the Czech Republic. In a recent game, Terry showcased her skills for Trutnov in a match against Zabiny Brno, the current champion of the Czech Republic Renomia Zenska Basketbolova Liga. Despite her stellar performance of 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists in 33 minutes of play, Trutnov was defeated 93-73 on the road by Zabiny Brno, the finalist of the league. This marked Trutnov's third consecutive loss, but it's important to note that the season is still in its early stages, leaving room for potential turnarounds. As it's Terry's first year with the team, her contributions have been noteworthy, with an average of 5.8 points, 7.8 rebounds (ranking fourth best in the league), 4.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game over the four games played so far. Terry's skill and determination on the court show promise for her and the team as they aim to improve their standing in the league.
#2. Ae'Rianna Harris, a 6'1'' forward who is a 28-year-old finalist and an alumna of the Boilermakers from the class of 2020, is currently playing professionally in the Czech Republic. Despite her stellar performance, she was unable to lead Hradec Kralove to victory against the undefeated USK Praha in the Czech Republic Renomia Zenska Basketbolova Liga. In the match, Harris showcased her skills by contributing 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 29 minutes of play. Unfortunately, her team suffered a decisive defeat with a final score of 98-73 in favor of USK Praha. This season marks Harris' debut with the team, where she has been displaying impressive stats with an average of 10.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 blocks per game (leading the league), and 1.5 steals per game across four matches.
