Here is the weekly review of the top performing Vikings alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced Chilean Sebastian Suarez, standing tall at 6'4'' and playing as a forward at 35 years old, showcased his basketball prowess by leading Las Animas to a hard-fought victory over the fifth-ranked Club Deportes Espanol de Talca in a thrilling match in the Chilean Liga Nacional de Basquetbol last Thursday. In an impressive display of skill and determination, Suarez, a graduate of Portland State in 2015 who currently plays professionally in Chile, was the standout player and rightfully earned the title of MVP for his outstanding performance. Scoring an incredible 26 points and securing 9 rebounds in just 33 minutes of play, Suarez's impact on the game was undeniable. Notably, he displayed remarkable accuracy by going a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, further solidifying his status as a champion player. This victory marked Las Animas' third consecutive win, propelling them to the top of the standings in the Places 9-13 group. Despite the conclusion of the Second Stage, Suarez continues to shine individually throughout the season, boasting impressive averages of 18.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 12 games he has competed in so far. His exceptional performance on the court exemplifies his unwavering dedication and skill as a true champion in the sport of basketball.

#2. Jaylin Henderson, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'3'' and an alum of the Vikings from 2026, who helped them clinch the Big Sky Conference Regular Season Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in Sweden. In his debut game for Koping Stars, despite his remarkable performance, especially as the top scorer with 28 points, along with 7 assists and 3 steals in 38 minutes of play, his team suffered a narrow 91-95 defeat on the road against the higher-ranked (#5) BC Lulea. It was an impressive showing by Henderson, showcasing his skills early on in his professional basketball career. This game serves as a promising start for him, demonstrating his potential to make a significant impact in the upcoming games.

#3. Canadian champion Tre-Vaughn Minott, a 6'9'' center who graduated from Portland State in 2026 and received the All-Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year award that year, currently plays professionally in Sweden. In a recent Swedish Basketligan game, Minott teamed up with the aforementioned Jaylin Henderson. Although Minott's efforts were commendable, he could not lead Koping Stars to victory in their match against BC Lulea, the fifth-ranked team in the league. Despite Koping Stars' 91-95 loss, Minott displayed an impressive performance, achieving a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes of play. This game marked Minott's debut for Koping Stars this season. His remarkable display on the court against BC Lulea earned him the esteemed Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com.

#4. Kyle Richardson, a 6'7'' power forward and Vikings alumnus from 2014, showcased his skills as a professional player in Japan. In a recent game, he played a pivotal role in Yokohama B-Corsairs' 74-71 victory over the fourth-ranked Tochigi Brex. Despite being 35 years old, Richardson displayed his prowess by scoring 8 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 17 minutes of play. Yokohama B-Corsairs, currently placed eighth in the Eastern Conference, greatly benefited from Richardson's contributions on the court. With an average of 4.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game this season, he has proven to be a valuable asset to his team. Notably, Richardson holds both American and Japanese citizenship, allowing him to compete in Japan as a domestic player. His impressive performance against Tochigi Brex solidified his reputation as a talented player and a key member of the Yokohama B-Corsairs.

#5. De'Sean Parsons, a 31-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' who graduated from Portland State in 2017 and received the All-Big Sky Conference Third Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Luxembourg. In a recent match against the ninth-ranked Grengewald, he played a crucial role in his team's dominant 85-61 victory in the Luxembourg Basketball League last Saturday. Parsons showcased his skills by scoring 7 points, securing 10 rebounds, and providing 4 assists in just 20 minutes of gameplay, making it a remarkable debut for him this season with Residence. Despite this being his first year with the team, Parsons demonstrated his talent and versatility on the court, helping his team secure the win and solidify their position as the finalists in the league standings. His exceptional performance against Grengewald highlighted his prowess as a champion player, as he played a key role in leading his team to victory.

#6. KJ Allen, a 26-year-old 6'6'' forward and Vikings alumni from 2024, is currently playing professionally in Japan for the Shinagawa City Basketball Club. In their recent game against the second-ranked Pats Five in Yamaguchi, despite Allen's exceptional performance, Shinagawa City Basketball Club suffered a close 76-73 defeat. Allen displayed his prowess on the court by achieving a double-double, scoring 16 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and contributing 3 assists and 4 steals in 33 minutes of play. His notable performance in this game earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, recognizing his outstanding skills and contributions to the team. Throughout the season, Allen has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 14.5 points per game (the third-best in the league), 11.0 rebounds per game (also the third-best in the league), 3.0 assists per game, and leading the league with 3.5 steals per game. Despite the team's challenges, Allen's consistent performance showcases his talent and determination as a champion player in the league.

#7. Ezekiel Alley, a 6'1'' guard aged 27, graduated from Portland State in 2022 and currently plays professionally in Spain. In his debut game of the season for Caja 87, Alley showcased his skills by contributing 7 points and 3 assists in just 14 minutes of play against Estudiantes. Despite his commendable performance, Caja 87 was unable to secure a victory, ultimately falling short with a final score of 65-78. Alley, a naturalized American, displayed his talent on the court but was unable to lead his team to success against Estudiantes.
