#1. Jeremiah Bailey (6'6''-F-1998, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Portugal) led Ovarense to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked Oliveirense (11-5) 76-73 in the Portuguese Liga Betclic last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds in 27 minutes. Ovarense Gavex (11-6) is placed fifth in the Liga Betclic. It's Bailey's first season with the team. This year Bailey averages 7.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.9apg and 1.6spg in 17 games he played so far.
#2. Isaiah Murphy (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2017-18, plays in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Ballooners (21-21) 85-66 in the Japanese B1 League on Wednesday night. Murphy recorded 8 points. Hiroshima Dragonflies (22-20) are placed fourth in West group. It's Murphy's fourth season with the team. This year he averages 3.8ppg and 2.0rpg. Murphy is a naturalized Japanese.
#3. Experienced Daniel Conorque (6'4''-G-1991, played in 2009-10, currently in Belize) led San Pedro Tiger Sharks to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Trojans (1-4) 88-71 in the Belizean BEBL in Saturday night's game. Conorque was MVP of the game. He scored 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 37 minutes. San Pedro Tiger Sharks (3-3) is placed fourth in the BEBL. Conorque has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg in six games.
#4. Shakir Smith (6'1''-PG-1992, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Kazakhstan) contributed to Aktobe's victory against the closely-ranked Tobol (16-10) 95-88 in the Kazakhstan National League last Wednesday. He scored 16 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 8 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Aktobe (16-4) is placed second in the National League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Smith has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 6.2apg and 2.2spg.
