We bring you last week's top former Buckeyes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Duane Washington Jr. (10 points), Justice Sueing (6 points), and LaQuinton Ross (12 points).

#1. Duane Washington Jr., a 6'3'' guard who is 26 years old and an Ohio St. graduate in 2021, is currently playing professionally in Serbia. Recently, he played a crucial role in Partizan's victory against Dubai, the league leader with a record of 21-3, in the AdmiralBet ABA League last Wednesday. In that game, Washington Jr. showcased his talent by scoring 10 points and providing 3 assists in just 22 minutes of play. This matchup was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top 4 ranked teams in the league. KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd, with a record of 21-3, holds the second position in the league standings. Washington Jr.'s outstanding performance, where he not only scored 10 points but also secured 1 rebound and distributed 3 assists, was instrumental in leading his team to victory, highlighting his capabilities as a finalist. Throughout the season, Washington Jr. has been having an exceptional year with impressive statistics. He boasts an average of 17.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in the 21 games he has participated in so far. His consistent contributions on the court have undoubtedly solidified his reputation as a champion player in the league.

#2. Justice Sueing, a 6'6'' forward and former Buckeyes alummi from the class of 2023, is currently playing professionally in Portugal. Despite his best efforts, Sueing, a player with an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award, was unable to lead Benfica (20-2) to victory over FC Porto (15-7) in the Portuguese Liga Betclic Masculina final. In the game, Sueing recorded 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in 23 minutes of play. The league-leading Benfica suffered a significant defeat on the road, losing 87-63 to the lower-ranked (#3) FC Porto. Sueing showcased a strong performance, but unfortunately, it was not enough to secure a win for his team. Despite this loss, Sueing has been maintaining solid statistics this season, averaging 12.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in the 20 games he has played so far.

#3. Experienced champion LaQuinton Ross, a 6'8'' forward who graduated from Ohio State in 2014 and received the All-Big Ten Third Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Australia. In a recent game, he led the Rockingham Flames to a dominant victory over the sixth-ranked Cougars with a final score of 108-89 in the Australian NBL One, which is the second division of basketball in the country. Ross delivered an impressive performance, scoring 12 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 15 minutes of play. The Rockingham Flames, with a record of 12-2, currently hold the top spot in the West group standings, thanks in part to Ross's contributions. This win marked the team's eighth consecutive victory, showcasing their strong form this season. Ross's consistent performance on the court has been instrumental in the team's success, highlighting his skills and experience as a finalist. Throughout the season, Ross has maintained solid averages of 9.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game across three games. His valuable contributions and leadership have been key factors in the Rockingham Flames' impressive run in the league.

#4. Kaleb Wesson, a towering 6'10'' center/forward and a proud Buckeyes alumnus from the class of 2020, has been making waves in the Indonesian Basketball League. Recently, he showcased his talent by leading the Borneo Hornbills to a crucial victory over the formidable Satria Muda team. In a thrilling duel between two top-ranked squads, Wesson's stellar performance not only secured the win but also earned him the title of MVP for the game. During this standout match, Wesson demonstrated his prowess on the court with an impressive double-double, amassing 32 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. In addition, he showcased his defensive skills by contributing 2 blocks and 3 steals in a challenging 39-minute effort. This outstanding display of athleticism and skill rightfully earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying his reputation as a champion player. Wesson's success in the Indonesian league has been consistent throughout the season, with impressive statistics to show for it. Averaging 16.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.3 blocks (ranking third in the league), and 1.3 steals per game over 27 appearances, Wesson has undoubtedly established himself as a force to be reckoned with. His dedication, skill set, and unwavering determination on the court truly exemplify what it means to be a finalist in the world of professional basketball.
