#1. Kahlaijah Dean, a 27-year-old guard standing at 5'6", graduated from Sacramento State in 2023. She previously played in Oakland from 2018 to 2022 before transitioning to a professional basketball career in Australia. Dean's impressive skills were highlighted when she received the All-Horizon League Third Team award during her time at Sacramento State. Recently, Dean played a crucial role in Northside Wizards' victory against the 13th-ranked Cyclones in the Australian NBL One North league, which is the second division in the country. In that game, she showcased her versatility by scoring 6 points, providing 6 assists, and playing for 29 minutes on the court. Despite the challenges posed by the opposing team, Dean's performance was instrumental in securing the win for her team, ultimately leading them to be crowned as the champions. Currently, the Northside Wizards hold the sixth position in the North group with a record of 4 wins and 4 losses. Dean's consistent contributions throughout the season have been reflected in her solid statistics, averaging 14.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in the eight games she has played so far. Her dedication and talent have undoubtedly elevated her team's performance, making her a standout finalist in every game she plays.
