#1. Experienced Larry Taylor (6'1''-PG-80, graduated '03, plays pro in Brazil). He could not help Paschoalotto/Bauru (13-5) to beat Vivo/Franca (14-2) in the Brazilian NBB. Taylor recorded only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 27 minutes. Paschoalotto/Bauru was badly defeated 88-71 on the road by the lower-ranked (#3) Vivo/Franca. It was Paschoalotto/Bauru's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Taylor averages 8.1ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.7apg and 1.1spg in nine games he played so far. He is a naturalized Brazilian.
#2. Demarius Bolds (6'4''-G-84, graduated '06, plays in Lebanon) managed to help Champville to win against the sixth-ranked Byblos (4-8) 83-79 in the Lebanese LBL last Sunday. Bolds recorded only 4 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Champville (10-2) is placed first in the LBL. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Bolds has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.7apg and 2.2spg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Mario Davis (6'6''-F-80, graduated '03, currently in Antigua) was the major contributor in a Cutie Ovals Ojays' victory against the league outsider Stingerz (0-1) 87-77 in the Antiguan ABBA on Sunday night. He scored 26 points (!!!), grabbed 8 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 2 shots in 37 minutes. It was his first game for Cutie Ovals Ojays this season. His team is placed second in the ABBA. It's Davis' first year with the team. Davis is a naturalized Antiguan.
#4. Alex Tuluka-Mfumupembe (6'4''-G/F-89, graduated '13, plays pro in Belgium) led Royal Brussels to a 2-point victory against the closely-ranked Hubo Limburg United B team (9-9) 76-74 in the Belgian Top Division I (second division) in Sunday night's game. Tuluka-Mfumupembe scored 12 points, had 4 boards, handed out 6 passes and blocked 2 shots. Royal IV Brussels (1-5) is placed seventh in the Top Division I. This season Tuluka-Mfumupembe averages 9.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.7bpg and 1.1spg.
