#1. Aleksa Popovic (6'9''-F-1999, played in 2019-22, plays pro in Serbia) managed to help KK Metalac Farmakom Valjevo to win against the 14th-ranked Tamis PN (3-6) 63-56 in the Serbian KLS on Sunday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. KK Metalac Farmakom Valjevo (4-4) is placed eighth in the KLS. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Popovic's first year with the team. This season Popovic averages 4.3ppg and 3.1rpg.
#2. Experienced Michael Digregorio (6'1''-G-1990, played in 2012-14, plays in Philippines) could not help Blackwater (1-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance Blackwater lost 87-97 on the road to the higher-ranked (#7) Terrafirma Dyip. Digregorio scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Digregorio averages 4.0ppg and 2.0rpg in three games he played so far. He is a naturalized Filipino.
#3. Eric Powell (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2022-23, currently in North Macedonia) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Vardar in their game against Gostivar (4-4) in the North Macedonian Prva Liga. Despite his good performance on Saturday night He scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. Powell has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg and 3.0rpg.
#4. Gianni Otto (6'1''-PG-1995, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Germany) contributed to a Tigers Tuebingen's victory against the closely-ranked Braunschweig (3-5) 92-87 in the German BBL on Saturday night. Otto scored only 2 points. Tigers Tuebingen (1-5) is placed 11th in the BBL. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Otto's fourth year with the team. This season he averages 2.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.2apg in six games.
