#1. Experienced Slobodan Miljanic (6'7''-F-1990, played in 2011-13, plays pro in Montenegro) contributed to Sutjeska's victory against the eighth-ranked MZT Skopje (1-1) 83-77 in the ABA League in Wednesday night's game. He scored 10 points and added 3 assists in 15 minutes. KK Sutjeska Niksic (2-0) is placed second in the ABA League. This year Miljanic averages 7.5ppg and 2.5apg in two games he played so far.
#2. Ibrahima Sankare (6'8''-F-1996, played in 2019-22, plays in Saudi Arabia) led Al Khewaildia to a victory over the league outsider Al Khaleej (0-5) 79-74 in the Saudi Arabian SBL last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Sankare recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 6 assists and 3 steals. Al Khewaildia (1-4) is placed second from the bottom (#9) in the SBL. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sankare has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 24.6ppg, 9.2rpg, 3.2apg and 1.6spg.
#3. Tradavis Thompson (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2023-24, currently in Brazil), who plays in the Brazilian NBB could not help Pato Basquete (0-2) in their last game. Despite Thompson's very good performance Pato Basquete lost 88-92 on the road to the much higher-ranked (#9) U.Corinthians. He was the second best scorer with 20 points. Thompson also added 5 rebounds in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Thompson's first year with the team. Thompson has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg in two games.
#4. Servet Kurnaz (6'8''-F-1999, played in 2023-24, plays pro in Turkey) managed to help MKE Ankaragucu Basketbol to win against the tenth-ranked Kocaeli (3-4) 82-73 in the Turkish TBL (second division) in Sunday night's game. Kurnaz recorded only one point. MKE Ankaragucu Basketbol (2-5) is placed 14th in the TBL. The Regular Season already ended. This season Kurnaz averages 3.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
