Best performed former Lake Superior State University players in pro basketball in last week games(04/15/2024)

We bring you last week's top former Lakers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Akaemji Williams (5'9''-PG-1996, played in 2014-18, plays pro in France) led Rouen Metropole Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked ALM Evreux (5-4) 73-65 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 19 points and added 6 passes in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Rouen Metropole Basket (19-11) is placed fourth in the ProB. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Williams' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.1apg and 2.1spg in 30 games he played so far.

   #2. Caden Ebeling (6'7''-F/C, played in 2021-23, plays in Argentina) contributed to Ciclista's victory against the 13th-ranked Pilar (14-18) 80-67 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) on Sunday night. He scored 13 points. Ciclista Juninense (15-17) is placed tenth in Conferencia Sur. It's Ebeling's first season with the team. Ebeling has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg and 5.1rpg.

   #3. Blake Marquardt (6'5''-F-1997, played in 2015-19, currently in Albania) was the main contributor in Beselidhja's victory against the closely-ranked Tirana (14-6) crushing them 80-58 in the Albanian Superliga in Saturday night's game. Marquardt was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and added 3 assists in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Beselidhja Lezhe (19-0) is placed first in the Superliga. So far his team won all nineteen games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended. Marquardt has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg in 17 games.

   #4. Devin Daly (6'5''-G-1994, played in 2019-16, plays pro in Belize). He could not help Belize City Defenders (4-3) to beat Dream Ballers (2-4) in the Belizean BEBL. Daly scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Belize City Defenders was edged94-91 on the road by the lower-ranked Dream Ballers (#5). There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Daly's fourth season with the team. This year he averages 8.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg.
