We bring you last week's top former Privateers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Damion Rosser, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from LSUNO in 2021 and received the All-Southland Conference Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Romania. Recently, he showcased his talent and leadership by leading his Romanian team, Voluntari, to a hard-fought victory against the closely-ranked TalTech in the European North Basketball League. Despite facing tough competition, Voluntari emerged triumphant with a score of 80-74 in Wednesday night's game. In this crucial match, Damion Rosser displayed his skills on the court by contributing 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist in just 26 minutes of play. This impressive performance not only helped his team secure the win but also highlighted his capabilities as a champion player. It was his first game of the season for Voluntari, and his impactful presence was felt throughout the game. Currently, Voluntari holds the 11th position in the league standings. With Damion Rosser's exceptional abilities and determination, he continues to prove himself as a valuable asset to his team, showcasing why he is considered a finalist player in the European North Basketball League.

#2. In a thrilling match on Wednesday night, Jaylen Key, a 29-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and an alumnus of Privateers from 2020, showcased his talent as he led Los Leones to a crucial 85-75 victory over the fourth-ranked Ancud in the Chilean Liga Nacional de Basquetbol. Key's exceptional performance included a double-double, with 13 points and an impressive 13 rebounds in just 29 minutes of play. The win marked the fourth consecutive victory for Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue, positioning them at the top of the standings in the Places 1-8 group. With only two games remaining in the Second Stage, every upcoming game is of utmost importance for the team. Key's standout display against Ancud not only secured the win but also earned him the coveted Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, highlighting his prowess as a champion on the court. Throughout the season, Key has maintained high statistics, averaging 16.5 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game in the 16 games he has competed in so far.

#3. Argentinian Erik Thomas, a 6'5'' power forward who is 31 years old and graduated from LSUNO in 2017, currently plays professionally in Mexico. Recently, in a game where his team Soles de Mexicali (21-7) faced off against the second-ranked Fuerza Regia, Thomas could not lead his team to victory. Despite his solid performance of 11 points and 9 rebounds in 30 minutes of play, Soles de Mexicali suffered a tough 92-75 defeat on the road. The regular season has now concluded, with Thomas showcasing his skills throughout the season. In the final game against Fuerza Regia, Thomas displayed his talent by contributing 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. However, even with his impressive efforts, his team was unable to secure the win. Throughout the season, Thomas has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 10.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game over the 28 games he has played so far. It is worth noting that Erik Thomas is a naturalized American, bringing his unique skill set to the team and making valuable contributions on the court.

#4. Jordan Johnson, a 6'1'' guard and 27-year-old Privateers alumni from 2024, received the All-Southland Conference Second Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in the United Kingdom, he recently made his debut for Manchester Basketball in a game against the second-ranked Chalon/Saor. Despite his commendable effort, Johnson's team suffered a 72-79 loss on the opponent's court. In his first game of the season, he showcased his skills by contributing 10 points and 4 assists in 22 minutes of play. Although Manchester Basketball did not secure a victory in their last game, it is only the beginning of the season, and there are still many games ahead. Johnson's strong performance against Chalon/Saone, where he scored 10 points, grabbed 2 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists, demonstrates his potential impact on the team. The outcome may not have been favorable this time, but with Johnson's talent and determination, there is optimism for future success in the season.
