Jalon Andrews, a 6'8'' forward who graduated from KSU in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Vietnam, showcased his skills by leading the Saigon Heat to a 93-84 victory over the Dolphins in a highly anticipated match in the Vietnam Basketball Association. Andrews, at 26 years old, put up an impressive double-double performance, scoring 11 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and contributing 4 assists and 3 blocks in 34 minutes of play. This game was a clash between two top 4 ranked teams, with Saigon Heat holding the second position in the league with a record of 7-3. Andrews' stellar performance against the Dolphins not only secured the win for his team but also earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his reputation as a champion. Throughout this season, Andrews has maintained an impressive stat line, averaging 9.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game, making him a standout player in the league. Prior to his professional career in Vietnam, Andrews honed his skills as a player in the Eurobasket Summer League, known for providing opportunities for players looking to pursue basketball overseas.
