#1. South African Osayi Osifo, a 26-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and a graduate of Jacksonville in 2023, currently plays professionally in Egypt. Despite his best efforts, he could not lead Al Ahly Cairo to victory against Ahly Benghazi in the Basketball Africa League. In the matchup, Osifo showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, securing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists during his 24 minutes on the court. Unfortunately, Al Ahly Cairo suffered a 106-98 defeat on the road at the hands of the lower-ranked Ahly Benghazi (#3) team. Despite Osifo's impressive performance, contributing an average of 7.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game this season, his team fell short in the game.
#2. Devin Harris, a 6'5'' forward/guard and 30-year-old Dolphins alumni from 2018, who received the All-A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year award that year, currently plays professionally in the TBL. In the recent game, Harris, representing the Kokomo Bobcats with a 15-8 record, unfortunately couldn't propel his team to victory against the Leprechauns in Lebanon. Despite his commendable efforts, the Kokomo Bobcats (#2) were defeated 114-106. During the game, Harris contributed 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 21 minutes of play. His performance was notable, scoring 10 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists against the tough competition from Lebanon. Even though Harris showcased his skills on the court, his team fell short of securing the win. In the ongoing season, Harris maintains an average of 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, displaying his consistency and valuable contribution to the team. Despite the recent loss, Harris continues to be a key player for the Kokomo Bobcats as they strive for success in the league.
