#1. Jamison Guerra, a 6'0'' point guard who recently graduated from Idaho St. in 2026, showcased his basketball prowess last Saturday as he led UBSC Raiffeisen Graz to a 96-87 victory over the Towers in the Austrian Win2Day Basketball Superliga. Despite it being his first season playing professionally in Austria, Guerra's impact on the game was undeniable. In his debut game for UBSC Raiffeisen Graz, the 24-year-old champion recorded an impressive stat line of 24 points and 5 assists in just 34 minutes of play, earning him the title of MVP. His stellar performance was instrumental in securing the win for his team, which currently holds the fifth position in the league standings. In another standout game against Kufstein, Guerra once again proved his mettle on the court by scoring 24 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. His exceptional skills and unwavering determination were on full display, solidifying his status as the champion of the game. As the season progresses, Guerra's talent and leadership will undoubtedly play a crucial role in UBSC Raiffeisen Graz's journey towards success in the Austrian basketball league.
#2. Brayden Parker, a towering 6'8'' center and 24-year-old Bengals alumni from 2024, has been showcasing his basketball prowess in Sweden. Recently, he led KFUM Jamtland to a remarkable victory over the fifth-ranked BC Lulea in the Swedish Basketligan. In a thrilling game last Tuesday, Parker's performance was nothing short of exceptional as he scored 11 points, secured 8 rebounds, and contributed 1 assist in just 24 minutes of play. His contributions were vital in securing the 96-87 win, highlighting his capabilities as a true champion on the court. Currently, KFUM Jamtland Basket holds the top spot in the league with a 2-0 record, thanks in part to Parker's stellar play. With an average of 9.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the two games played this season, Parker continues to demonstrate his value as a key player for his team. His consistency and skill set him apart as a formidable force in the league, embodying the spirit of a true champion and finalist.
#3. Hungarian Balint Mocsan, a 6'3'' guard who is 29 years old and graduated from Idaho State in 2020, showcased his skills in his first game for DEAC this season. Despite his strong performance, DEAC (0-1) suffered a tough loss on the road against the higher-ranked (#5) Sopron KC, with a final score of 100-82. Mocsan proved to be a key player for DEAC, finishing as the team's second-best scorer with 14 points. Additionally, he contributed 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes of play. This game marked Mocsan's fifth year with the team, and he displayed an impressive performance against Sopron KC. Despite his efforts, DEAC was unable to secure a victory in this matchup against the formidable opponent.
#4. Danish Liam Sorensen, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'6'' and an alumnus of the Bengals from 2022, showcased his skills while playing professionally in Denmark. In a recent game, Sorensen, although putting up an impressive performance, could not lead Horsens IC to victory against the Bakken Bears in Aarhus. Despite scoring 12 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists in 29 minutes, Horsens IC suffered a tough 83-64 defeat to the league-leading Bakken Bears. Throughout the game, Sorensen demonstrated his talent by contributing significantly to his team's efforts. His overall performance was commendable, with his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities on display. Despite his solid individual showing, the team fell short against the formidable Bakken Bears. Sorensen has maintained solid statistics this season, averaging 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game across the three games he has played so far. With his consistent performance and valuable contributions, Sorensen continues to be a key player for Horsens IC as they strive for success in the league.
#5. Jay Nagle, a 26-year-old forward standing at 6'9'' who graduated from Idaho St. in 2023 and currently plays professionally in the United Kingdom, was unable to lead the Caledonia Gladiators (1-1) to victory against the Sharks (1-0) in the British Super League Basketball. Despite his efforts, Nagle, a finalist, could not consider Sunday's game as one of his best performances. He scored just 3 points and contributed 3 assists in 23 minutes of play. The Caledonia Gladiators suffered a tough 98-76 loss to the higher-ranked (#3) Sharks in Sheffield. This season marks Nagle's first with the team. In a valiant effort against Sheffield S, the finalist Jay Nagle showcased his skills by scoring 3 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists. However, his individual performance was not enough to secure a victory for his team. Despite his contribution, the Gladiators fell short in the game. Nagle is averaging 5.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the two games played this season.
#6. Brandon Boyd, a 6'0'' point guard and 29-year-old Lancers alumni from the class of 2020, previously played for Idaho State between 2015 and 2019 before embarking on his professional career in Mexico. In a recent game, Boyd, although delivering an impressive performance with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in just 17 minutes of play, could not prevent his team, Freseros Irapuato, from suffering a 88-97 defeat to the formidable Panteras, who are ranked #3 in the league. Despite Boyd's contributions, Freseros was unable to clinch the win. Throughout this season, Boyd has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game across two matches. His talent and skills continue to shine as he strives to lead his team to success in the league.
