We bring you last week's top former Patriots players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced Jamaican player Shevon Thompson, who stands at 7'0'' and plays as a center, is 33 years old and graduated from GMU in 2016. In that same year, he received the Reese's NCAA D1 All-Star Game award. Currently, he is showcasing his skills as a professional player in France. In a recent match against league underdog Pau-Lacq-Orthez, with a record of 0-2, Thompson's team, JDA Dijon Bourgogne, secured a dominant 89-61 victory. Despite this being his first game for the team this season, Thompson managed to score 8 points and grab 9 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play. This outstanding performance not only helped his team emerge victorious but also positioned them at the top of the league standings. While it is still early in the season and outcomes remain uncertain, Thompson's impactful debut for JDA Dijon Bourgogne sets a promising tone for his future with the team. Thompson emerged as the champion of the game, showcasing his prowess on the court and contributing significantly to his team's success as they triumphed over Pau-Lacq-Orthez.

#2. Ghanian Josh Oduro, a 6'9'' forward who is 25 years old and an alummi of Friars from 2024, previously played for GMU between 2019 and 2023. He received the All-Atlantic 10 First Team award during his time at GMU. Currently, Oduro is playing professionally in Australia for Melbourne United. In a recent game, despite his excellent performance, Melbourne United (1-3) suffered a narrow 84-82 defeat on the road against the #3 ranked JackJumpers. Oduro stood out as the top scorer of the game, contributing 22 points and 8 rebounds in just 30 minutes of play. This remarkable display is especially noteworthy as Oduro is only in his third season of professional basketball and it's his first year with the team. Despite Oduro's impressive individual achievements, Melbourne United was unable to secure the victory against Tasmania. Oduro has been having a standout season so far, averaging 17.0 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game, which ranks him as the second-best rebounder in the league after four games. It is worth noting that Oduro is a naturalized American.

#3. Victor Bailey Jr, a 6'4'' shooting guard at 28 years old, graduated from GMU in 2023 and received the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team award that same year. Currently playing professionally in Turkey, Bailey Jr recently led Denizli Basket to a decisive 101-87 victory against the 11th-ranked Tofas in the Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi last Saturday. Bailey Jr showcased his skills by contributing 15 points in just 29 minutes of play during the game. This victory propelled Denizli Basket, with a current record of 1-1, to the sixth position in the league standings. Notably, this is Bailey Jr's debut season with the team, and his impact has been immediate. During the game against Tofas, Bailey Jr demonstrated his versatility by scoring 15 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and providing 2 assists. These strong contributions were instrumental in securing the victory for his team and earning him the title of the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Bailey Jr has maintained impressive individual performance, averaging 16.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the two games he has played thus far. His consistent performance and valuable contributions have been crucial in Denizli Basket's success and position in the league.

#4. Ronald Polite, a 6'2'' guard and 24-year-old Spartans alumnus from the class of 2025, previously played for GMU between 2020 and 2024 before starting his professional career in Romania. In a recent game, he proved to be a vital contributor to Craiova's victory over the tenth-ranked Brasov with a score of 113-98 in the Romanian Liga Nationala Baschet de Masculin last Saturday. During the game, Polite showcased his talent by scoring 23 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and delivering 4 assists in just 21 minutes of play. This remarkable performance came in his first game for Craiova this season, which is quite impressive considering he is only in his second season of professional basketball. Currently, his team holds the top spot in the league standings. Polite's exceptional 23-point performance, along with his solid contributions in rebounds and assists against Brasov, played a crucial role in leading his team to victory. His skills and abilities on the court truly exemplified him as a champion player.

#5. Zachary Anderson, a 24-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' who graduated from GMU in 2025 and was instrumental in helping them secure the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Co-Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in the United Kingdom. In his debut game for Bristol Flyers this season, he faced a tough challenge against the formidable Tindastoll team. Despite his commendable performance, where he showcased his skills by scoring 15 points and grabbing 9 rebounds along with contributing 1 assist in 32 minutes of play, Bristol Flyers ultimately suffered a disappointing 85-68 defeat at home. Anderson's efforts on the court were notable, proving his worth as a valuable player for the team, even though they were unable to secure a victory in this match.

#6. Jared Billups, a 6'5'' guard who is 23 years old and an alumnus of the Patriots from 2025, recently received the prestigious All-Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year award. He is currently playing professionally in Poland. In a recent game, Billups made his debut for Tasomix Rosiek Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski and made a significant impact. He played a pivotal role in their victory over the 14th-ranked Start with a final score of 84-79 in the Polish Orlen Basket Liga last Saturday. During the game, Billups showcased his skills by contributing 9 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and providing 3 assists in 32 minutes of play.    #7. Saquan Singleton, a 6'6'' guard who graduated from GMU in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Chile, recently showcased an impressive performance despite his team's loss. In the game against the second-ranked Univ. Concepcion, playing in the Places 1-8 group, Singleton's team Puerto Montt suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 87-59 on the opponent's court. However, Singleton stood out with a double-double, scoring 16 points, securing 16 rebounds, and contributing 4 assists during his 35 minutes on the court. Despite his team's loss, Singleton's remarkable performance did not go unnoticed. He received the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further establishing his reputation as a champion player. Throughout the season, Singleton has maintained high statistics, averaging 15.1 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game, and 5.3 assists per game (ranking third in the league) along with 1.4 steals per game in the 16 games he has played so far. His consistent performance highlights his prowess on the court as a finalist in his league.

#8. Masai Troutman, a 6'5'' guard who is 23 years old and an alum of the Patriots from 2026, showcased his skills in his debut game for Kouvot in Finland. Despite his remarkable performance, the bottom-ranked Kouvot (0-2) were narrowly defeated 77-74 on their home court in Kouvola by the sixth-ranked Karhubasket. Troutman emerged as the standout player of the game, leading all scorers with 21 points while contributing 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 31 minutes of play. His impactful performance was not enough to secure a victory for Kouvot in this fiercely contested match against Karhubasket.

#9. The French basketball player, Nicolas Pavrette, stands tall at 6'11'' and plays as a forward/center. At the age of 24, he graduated from GMU in 2024 and received the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver First Team award that same year. Currently, he is showcasing his skills as a pro player in Germany. In a recent game, Pavrette, despite his efforts, could not lead Veolia Towers Hamburg to victory over EWE Baskets. He managed to score 6 points in just 14 minutes of play, displaying his talent on the court. Unfortunately, his team suffered a close defeat with a final score of 75-74. During another match against Oldenburg, Pavrette once again demonstrated his abilities by contributing 6 points and grabbing 2 rebounds. However, his team was unable to secure the win, despite his commendable performance. In the ongoing season, Pavrette is maintaining an average of 5.0 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game across four matches. As a rising talent in the German basketball scene, Pavrette continues to showcase his skills and determination as he aims to lead his team to success.

Recently, he made headlines by leading Vendee Challans Basket to a thrilling 89-87 victory over the 14th-ranked Laval in the French Nationale Masculine 1 league, securing a narrow 2-point win. In this game, Moore's exceptional skills and leadership on the court earned him the title of MVP, as he delivered a stellar performance. Moore's remarkable display against Laval not only secured the victory for his team but also highlighted his prowess as a champion player. Throughout the season, he has consistently delivered impressive performances, averaging 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game over the course of two games.
