#1. Detrek Browning, a 6'1'' point guard who graduated from FMU in 2018 and received the prestigious All-PeachBelt Player of the Year award, is currently playing professionally in Georgia. In a recent game, Browning, playing for Kutaisi, showcased his skills on the court by scoring 21 points and securing 5 rebounds in 39 minutes of play. Despite his outstanding performance, Kutaisi, the league leader, suffered a 70-83 defeat at home against the lower-ranked Batumi, who held the #3 position in the league standings. This marks Browning's first season with the Kutaisi team, and he has been a standout player throughout the year. He leads the league in scoring, averaging an impressive 22.3 points per game. Additionally, Browning contributes 4.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, placing him among the top performers in the league. Despite his individual success, Browning's efforts have not always translated into victories for his team, as evidenced by the recent loss to Batumi.
