We bring you last week's top former Owls players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Lotta Vehka-Aho (5'7''-F-2000, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Finland) was the major contributor in a Kotka Peli-Karhut's victory against one of league's weakest teams Kouvottaret (2-4) crushing them 92-58 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Saturday night's game. She recorded 23 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 26 minutes. Kotka Peli-Karhut (5-0) is placed first in the Korisliiga. So far her team won all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Vehka-Aho averages 9.6ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.0apg in five games she played so far.

#2. Maria Myklebust (6'1''-F-2003, played in 2023-25, plays in Italy) could not help Viterbo (15-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her very good performance the third-placed Viterbo (15-7) was defeated 62-51 on the road by the lower-ranked Moncalieri (#6) in the Group A. Myklebust recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Myklebust has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.3spg.

#3. Astou Gaye (6'2''-PF-1998, played in 2019-21, currently in France), who plays in the French LF2 (second division) was not able to help the league outsider Le Havre (0-5) in their last game. Despite her good performance the bottom-ranked Le Havre was badly defeated74-58 on the opponent's court by the leading Montbrison. Gaye was the second best scorer with 11 points. She also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 33 minutes. So far Le Havre lost all five games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Gaye's first year with the team. This season Gaye averages 6.0ppg, 6.8rpg and 2.3apg in four games.

#4. Marta Garcia (6'3''-F-2002, played in 2021-21, plays pro in Spain) led AzulMarino to a victory over the 12th-ranked ISB (2-3) crushing them 88-59 in the Spanish LF Challenge (second division) in Saturday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Garcia scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Azul Marino Sant Josep Palma de Mallorca (5-0) is placed first in the LF Challenge. So far AzulMarino won all five games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Garcia has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg and 5.2rpg.

#5. Sofia Galeron (6'2''-F-1999, played in 2019-23, plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Barca CBS (1-4) crushing them 97-59 in the Spanish LF Challenge (second division) last Saturday. She recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a mere 18 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Galeron's third season in pro basketball. Unicaja Mijas Malaga (4-1) is placed third in the LF Challenge. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Galeron averages 8.4ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.0apg in five games.
