#1. Jalon Perry (6'1''-G-1998, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Kazakhstan) led Irbis to a victory against the closely-ranked Caspiy Aktau (2-2) 74-69 in the Kazakhstan National League in Thursday night's game. He scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Perry's third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Irbis Almaty (5-2) is placed third in the National League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Perry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.6ppg, 5.3rpg and 2.3apg in seven games he played so far.
