#1. Daniel Love, a 6'3'' guard who graduated from Eckerd in 2023, is currently playing professionally in Italy. In a recent match where his team, R.Calabria, faced off against Fiorenzuola in the Italian Serie B Nazionale, Love unfortunately could not lead his team to victory. Despite his efforts, R.Calabria, currently in ninth place, fell short against the sixth-ranked Fiorenzuola, losing 63-76 at home. Love, who only managed to score 2 points in 18 minutes of play, may not consider this game one of his best performances. Although the outcome was not in R.Calabria's favor, it is worth noting that it is still early in the season, leaving room for improvement and changes in the team's performance. Love is in his first year with the team, and he showed promise in the match by contributing 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite the loss, Love's individual stats for the season show an average of 5.0 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game in the two games he has played so far. It is important to highlight that Daniel Love, a naturalized Swedish player, is adapting to his new team and league, and with time, he may have the opportunity to showcase his full potential as a champion.
Other former Eckerd College players, who play in pro basketball:
