#1. British Maya Price, a 6'3'' center aged 26 and a graduate of Eckerd in 2022, has been excelling in her professional basketball career in Australia. She recently showcased her talent by leading the Sunshine Coast Phoenix to a thrilling victory over the eighth-ranked Force, with a final score of 78-74 in the Australian NBL One North league, which is the second division in the country. In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Price recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds during the intense 32-minute game. Her stellar performance was crucial in securing the win for her team, positioning the Sunshine Coast Phoenix at sixth place in the North group with a record of 3-3. Notably, Price continued her impressive form in another game against Ipswich F, where she once again stood out with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. Her outstanding contribution earned her the esteemed Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying her reputation as a true champion on the basketball court. Throughout the season, Price has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the six games she has played so far. Her consistent performance and impactful presence on the court have established her as a formidable finalist in the league.
