We bring you last week's top former Pirates players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Vance Jackson, a 6'9'' forward who graduated from ECU in 2022 and now plays professionally in Kosovo, was unable to lead Vellaznimi (0-2) to victory in their recent game. Despite his exceptional performance, Vellaznimi fell short at home against the higher-ranked (#4) Sigal Prishtina, losing 71-83. In the game, Jackson showcased his skills by recording a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. He also contributed 2 assists and 3 steals during his 39 minutes on the court. Although the loss was disappointing, it is still early in the season, and there is potential for improvement as the team progresses. This marks Jackson's first year with the team, and he made a strong impression in the match against Sigal Prishtina with his impressive stat line. Despite the outcome, his noteworthy performance earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, highlighting his abilities as a true champion in the game. Individually, Jackson has been having a stellar season so far, averaging 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game in the two games he has played. With his consistent contributions and standout performances, Jackson continues to demonstrate his prowess both on the court and as a finalist in every game he plays.

#2. Luke Davis, a 25-year-old 6'8'' forward/center and a former Pirates alumnus from 2026, showcased his skills as a professional player in Luxembourg by being a major contributor to Mess' victory over the eighth-ranked Mamer with a score of 85-81 in the Luxembourg Nationale 2 league. In his debut game for Mess this season, Davis recorded an impressive double-double, scoring 18 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in 40 minutes of play. Despite it being his first season in professional basketball, Davis displayed exceptional talent and versatility, earning himself the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. This outstanding performance solidified Davis' reputation as a true champion on the court, highlighting his potential as a rising star in the league. Davis' remarkable display helped lead his team to third place in the standings, making him a key player to watch in the season ahead.

#3. Italian Giovanni Emejuru, a 23-year-old 6'10'' center who graduated from ECU in 2026 and currently plays professionally in Italy, made his debut for Roma Basket in their BKT Eurocup match against Bahcesehir. Despite his efforts, Emejuru could not lead Roma Basket to victory against the formidable opponent. In the game, he scored 4 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in just 11 minutes of play. Although he put on a remarkable performance, Roma Basket ultimately fell short, losing 78-91 to the higher-ranked Bahcesehir, who currently hold the #4 spot in the standings. This game marked Emejuru's first appearance for Roma Basket this season, and while he showed promise on the court, he was unable to secure a win for his team.
